Hey y’all! It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Uncle Drew’s Kitchen will be leaving Indiana. My family are I are moving back to Georgia. We are sad that we have to leave the place where it all started. We will miss every single one of our supporters that helped grow UDK into what it is today. Y’all will forever hold a special place in our heart!

What do you do when you have leftover brisket? You make for !!!! Duh! We sauced up half of the brisket and made bbq tacos with cotija cheese, fresh jalapeños, and pickled onion. The other half of the meat we left as is and topped it with a cilantro chimichurri sauce. Then added a little white onion and cilantro for a nice finish. I’ll admit, I out did myself with this one *pats self on back*

First time smoking a whole brisket. Took about 10hrs total. 6 hrs on the grill and 4 hrs wrapped in the oven (due to weather). Had good flavor and a nice smoke ring. Still got a few things to work on before it’s perfect. Good eating though!

I had the honor of providing lunch for the 4th annual Neurohope Swing Fore Hope golf outing. The meal was dedicated to the memory of our coworker, Brittany Lewis, that passed away due to cancer earlier this year.

Hey y’all! Make sure you come out to see my brother on his last weekend at the market. I’m sad to say that he is leaving to return home to Georgia. He said that he enjoyed his time here and is happy that you loved his grilling. Hopefully I can talk him into coming back next year!

After back to back sold out days at the winery and the Farmers Market, and I decided to build a BBQ pit in the backyard today so we could cook for the family. Baby back ribs, brisket, and smoked sausage. It was a glorious end to the weekend! Now I’m gonna kick my feet up and relax! WHEW CHILLAY!!!!
