Apple started 2015 with discontinuing the "Free Music" section of their business. Many outcries later, it was brought back around the end of January or sometime in February. Now you can download new artists' music, 10 or so tracks every week. Tuesday is when they release new music including the free music.

My music library continues to grow and grow...just surpassed 47,000 songs with an imported CD, "The Innocents" by Erasure. It may be sometime in 2015 that I get to 50,000 songs and what a milestone that will be.

Just surpassed 46,000 songs in my song library, thanks to the RENT (Original Broadway Cast Recording) Soundtrack 2CD album. On the way to 50,000 by the end of the year!

I purchase all of my music, so this is an actual accomplishment. Whereas I've met other DJs who boast about having 1TB of music or over a 100,000-250,000 song library--that's not all purchased, it's pirated/stolen and yet they use it to profit for their own business.

At 1s And 2s DJ Company, music is paid for by purchasing new/used CDs, tapes, LPs, licensed digital copies from iTunes, GooglePlay, Amazon.com or by purchasing music directly from the artist(s). Support honest music procurement and book a DJ with integrity! Give me a call to book your next event!

No more events for the rest of 2013, as of yet. Focus is going to be on a couple of other business start-ups. Still the killer DJ that everyone loves and I'll be available for any upcoming weddings, corporate parties or other private events. Check out The Oh Hello's...great singer/songwriter, brother + sister musical duo! They're pretty new to releasing music--a 4-song EP (2011) and an 11-song album (2012). Music is only available digitally via iTunes or Amazon. Great stuff if you like The Lumineers and similar music!

JUST HIT ***40,000*** SONGS!!! The album that put me there is "The Origin of Love" by MIKA...and it's fitting that the 40,000th song is "Emily" on the album (it's the English version of "Elle Me Dit", originally in French).
