Come join a great evening at the Keith Farm in Westport

Come celebrate 25 years of SEMAP at our Silver Jubilee on Sunday, October 8! We are excited to host this farm-to-table fundraiser, with proceeds from the event going directly into funding our work supporting farmers in SE Massachusetts, preserving our beautiful agricultural landscapes and building an equitable and resilient regional food system.

Guests will enjoy some of the delightful tastes of fall and the culinary artistry of Chefs Chris Cronin (UNION FLATS Seafood Co.) and Lyn Keith (It's Thyme Catering & New England Clam Jams). You'll also get to enjoy delicious local drinks, live music and plenty of dancing before watching the sun set over the beautiful scenery at the Historic Keith Farm in Westport.

We have planned a great summer picnic meal for the DNRT:

Grilled Lemon & Herb Chicken complimented with a roasted Corn salad with Artisan Keith Farm Tomatoes & fresh Basil, a Twist on the Waldorf salad… with crispy Gala Apples, fresh Fennel, Tarragon & Celery, refreshing Gingered Watermelon Gazpacho and finally a delicious Berry Crumble with Apples, Rhubarb, Black Berries, Red Raspberries and Blueberries served with Vanilla Ice Cream.

For the vegetarian guests we will serve our yummy Pesto Pasta salad with Sun Dried Tomatoes, roasted Sugar Snap Peas, Edamame, roasted Pine Nuts and Parmesan.

Keith Farm open 10a till 1p today and tomorrow, July 28 & 29… fresh tomatoes, beans, cuke’s, summer & zucchini squash. Making Clam Chowder too… please let me know if you’d like a quart. Quarts are limited.

This weeks treats … ready to go from our kitchen to your table.. Turkey Chili, Roasted Veggie Soup, Orange Zest Corn Bread, Chicken Croquettes with White Sauce with Peas, a Twist on the Waldorf.. (Apple, Fennel & Tarragon Salad), Apple Crisp and Triple Chocolate Brownies. If you are interested in being put on our weekly email list, PM us. Then you can place orders for Friday pick ups. We have a few extra of everything… if you are quick you might just score some goodies.
