As I step into my next year, it's time to elevate NO MORE SLEEPS COLLECTIVE into the next chapter as we align ourselves with collaborators and see what we are able to accomplish together starting with an ART FUNDRAISING EVENT JULY 27!
No More Sleeps - Curating living experiences through the magic of art, community and collaboration to manifest a reality where every day is one to look forward to.
This will be a PRIVATE/INVITE ONLY event for our friends and supporters (old, new and yet to be discovered) if you want to insure your get on the guest list, comment here or message me directly (even if we haven't met yet, or you haven't been to a precious event, we want to know you if you want to know us!)
We are raising money and LOOKING FOR COLLABORATORS for our next BIG INSTALLATION.
I don't want to let go off all of the details yet, but we are looking at building a HUGE, INTERACTIVE, PLAY installation built of smaller pieces.
Each of these smaller pieces will be designed by individuals or groups IN THEIR OWN STYLE AND VISION to be a part of the bigger installation. Groups will sponsor their own build or receive a GRANT which will be funded from the donations.
And TOGETHER these smaller pieces join a bigger whole and create a LIVABLE EXPERIENCE that we can ALL enjoy together at burns, festivals and outdoor events!

gather around friends, because it's time for an announcement!
STERILLIAN 2024 WILL BE HELD THIS FALL
with the overwhelming amount of challenges to holding a large event in the middle of the summer, we have decided to shift STERILLIAN to a fall event instead of a summer one going forward.
imagine a big stack of element 5s, full production, camping, huge bonfires, crisp air, art installations that exceed all expectations and a lineup to match with the thickest vibes hanging heavy in the air.
stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
in the meantime, we'll be hosting a pool party (or two) this summer to enjoy the hot weather and cool water along with house music with all of our favorite people.

Featuring ELEMENT 5 SOUND, and world class production in a PROJECTION MAPPED VENUE at our mainstage, we have scoured the country to bring you the VERY BEST in NEW & EMERGING ELECTRONIC MUSIC and for the FIRST TIME EVER, we are offering a SECOND STAGE in collaboration with CLASSICAL REVOLUTION ICT to offer a completely alternative experience to bask in the comforts of classical music featuring a WOODWIND QUINTET and STRING QUARTET as well as solo performances.

let's hear it real quick for the woman of the hour, this year's FEATURED ARTIST:
Chloë Cloud
when it came time to select an artist for this year's Proxima, there was only one person that I had in mind, and that person was Chloë Cloud. arguably one of the most talented portrait artists working in wichita, I knew there was no better person to ask to illustrate this year's mainstage artists for Proxima - A Collaborative Conscious Dance Movement - 3.16 than Chloe.
and let me tell you: SHE ABSOLUTELY KILLED IT. WE CANNOT WAIT TO GET THESE CARDS INTO YOUR HANDS
Chloë Cloud is a multidisciplinary creative from Wichita, Kansas. Her first medium was colored pencil but after exploring her abilities, she’s learned she can never be confined to just one medium. Over the course of her life she’s explored, painting, hand building and throwing ceramics, digital illustration, branding, logo design, both digital and film photography, layout design, collage work, culinary arts, motion graphics and embroidery. She received a Bachelor of Art degree, from McPherson College, in graphic design, studio arts and photography. She has been working professionally as an Art Director in marketing. Working with iconic clients such as: Applebee’s, IHOP, Sonic Drive-In, John Deere, Bose and more. In her free time, she creates and paints murals and also works with local bands, entrepreneurs and businesses on branding and business assets through freelance. Oh and somewhere in there makes fine art!
Over the course of her national and local creative endeavors, she has participated in over 20 exhibitions, has had the honor of having her work published over 15 times and has received over 50 awards for her artistic creations. She was most recently recognized as a Mid-Western Art Alliance Cohort Member for 2023 through Harvester Arts and recognized by the Wichita Business Journal as one of the 2023 Outstanding Young Professionals in Professional Services.
She loves being involved in her community through dance, mentorship, business development and helping bring people’s creative visions to life. She couldn’t be more excited to share her work with you and wants to connect. Check out her work at the link provided and come say hello!

joining us on the CLASSICAL STAGE for Proxima - A Collaborative Conscious Dance Movement - 3.16 as part of the STRING QUARTET:
Ailed Garcilazo is a chamber, orchestral and solo performer based in Wichita, Ks.
Originally from Mexico Ailed has been part of different professional orchestras and chamber groups in Mexico and the U.S.
From 2017-2019 she was part of the professional chamber Orchestra “Higinio Rubalcaba” and went on tour with them to Costa Rica in 2019.
Ailed graduated with a Masters in Cello Performance from WSU in 2023. During this time she had the opportunity to be part of the Wichita Chamber Music Festival with a series of chamber music concerts and as an orchestral musician she played with the Wichita Grand Opera and the Wichita Symphony.
During Christmas season she also plays some concerts with the Trans Siberian orchestra.
Some of her awards include, 2nd place in the “Chiapas National Contest” in Mexico.Winner of the “Soloist of the University of Guadalajara”
First place in the Wolff Ilse Bing Chamber Music competition two years in a row, 2021 and 2022 and 2nd and 3rd place in 2023 and
KOCH cultural trust grant.
Currently she is preparing for a DMA program and enjoys working with the Wichita Youth Symphony Orchestra, teaching private lessons and playing gigs!

I was sitting at the Salina Symphony one day watching Lillian Oeding perform, when the idea for this year's Proxima came crashing into my consciousness - combine classical music with electronic music, featuring two stages - blending the past and the present into a night unlike anything I've ever seen before.
and when I had this idea, I knew there was only one person to seal the whole thing off, bringing the two together, and that man is Brandon Theis: The Orchestrator himself.
Fresh off of a sell out show at Meow Wolf and performing with Afroman, Brandon is clearly one of the hottest up-and-coming emerging artists working today, and we couldn't have picked a better person to co-headline this year's Proxima - A Collaborative Conscious Dance Movement - 3.16

Joining the CLASSICAL STAGE as a member of the STRING QUARTET at this year's PROXIMA, introducing:
Addison Wegerle is a violinist from Wichita, Kansas, where he has remained an active member of the music community since the age of six years old. As a young musician, Addison was a
member of the Wichita Youth Symphony for seven years, while also studying privately, playing in masterclasses, and attending music festivals with violin professors from around the world. His dedication to music that started at a young age allowed him the opportunity in high school to perform with the South Central District Orchestra, where he was concertmaster his junior year, and the Kansas All-State Orchestra, where he was co-concertmaster his junior year.
Following high school, Addison studied violin performance at Wichita State University with Dr. Betul Soykan and Dr. Timothy Jones, earning his bachelor's degree in 2022. During his college career, Addison was the first violinist of the Ann Walenta String Quartet from 2016 to 2019, winning first prize in the Konrad Wolff-Ilse Bing Chamber Music Competition in 2019. In 2017, he was also honored with the privilege to sit as concertmaster in the Kansas Intercollegiate Orchestra. Along with his involvement in chamber music and the Wichita State University Symphony Orchestra, Addison has also been a counselor and music coach at Bows at the Barn String Camp, performed with numerous university orchestras across Kansas, and continues to be involved with a variety of fine arts projects in Wichita and the surrounding area. Addison currently teaches private lessons from his home studio, is a violin instructor at P***n Music Center, a violin coach for the Wichita Youth Symphony Orchestras, and is an active member of the Wichita Grand Opera and the Wichita Symphony Orchestra where he continues to showcase his passion for music.

we are BEYOND ESCACTIC to introduce you to ZOF (Zoë Roubanis) coming to us all the way from Seattle, Washington.
having been added to the EDC Vegas lineup last week, and blowing up all over the country, here's your chance to experience ZOF as they're on their way up, over and beyond.
With a skillset spanning DJing, producing, and singing, ZOF has become one of the premiere emerging talents in electronic music. A lifelong musician, she was introduced to music at age 7 by teaching herself to play piano on a toy Yamaha keyboard, quickly advancing to the full sized version. She later picked up guitar as well and began composing and singing her own music.
ZOF’s musical background and depth of experience shines through in her original productions and eclectic DJ sets. While most of her productions fall under the umbrella of house music, she is not afraid to step outside of the genre box. Although she majored in chemistry in collect, she decided that synthesizing beats was more fulfilling than synthesizing drugs, and started to pursue music as a career. With heavy influence from Dirtybird Records and its unique sound, ZOF has garnered support from Shiba San, Steve Darko and Victoria Rawlins, coming full circle, ready to add her voice to the dance music world.

taking on the flute with the WINDCHILL QUINTET on the CLASSICS STAGE:
Hailing from Kansas City, Missouri, Hannah Kavanaugh seeks to enrich their performance of flute repertoire with contemporary and jazz music. They boast a wide range of study spanning from W. A. Mozart to Valerie Coleman and beyond, as well as performances with various big bands and in pit orchestras. Most recently, Hannah played flute and alto flute for the production of Jekyll & Hyde at Roxy's Downtown.
Hannah holds a Bachelor of Music in Instrumental Performance and Music Industry from Capital University Conservatory of Music in Columbus, Ohio. With both the Capital University Chapel Choir and the Symphonic Winds, they performed on the Carnegie Hall stage in 2020 and 2022. While studying in Columbus, they also played multiple times with Vaughn Wiester’s Famous Jazz Orchestra and with the Rick Brunetto Big Band on saxophones and doubles.
Currently, Hannah is pursuing their Master of Music in Instrumental Performance at Wichita State University, where they serve as the Graduate Staff Assistant for the flute studio. At WSU, they are a part of the Windchill Quintet, the Wind Ensemble, the Symphony Orchestra, and the Galactic Tofu Tango small jazz ensemble. They currently study flute with Dr. Hilary Jones and saxophone with James Pisano.

Joining the WINDCHILL QUINTET on the CLASSICAL STAGE:
Grace Stringfellow is an orchestral, chamber, and solo performer based in Wichita, Kansas. She joined the Boise Philharmonic as Second Oboe in September 2021 and the Wichita Symphony as Second Oboe in September 2022 and has been Principal Oboe of the Dad Village Symphony Orchestra (a virtual symphony) since March of 2020. In 2020, she won the Undergraduate Concerto Competition at the University of Colorado Boulder and in 2021, she was a Finalist in the U.S. Army Band Collegiate Solo Competition. In 2023, her Graduate Woodwind Quintet won First Prize in the Konrad Wolffe-Ilse Bing International Chamber Music Competition. Her debut album, "Holloway Walker Four Sonatas", in collaboration with pianist Er-Hsuan Li and composers Nelson Walker and Jordan Holloway was released in May 2021 on all streaming platforms. Grace is a huge advocate for commissioning new works and collaborating with living composers and has premiered 8 pieces since 2018. Stringfellow's major teachers include Peter Cooper, Jason Lichtenwalter, and Dr. Kristin Weber. In her free time, Grace loves to run, read, play the bass, and spend time with her chinchilla, Kasha.

and coming now, the second person to take the mainstage at this year's Proxima:
Introducing Bison Dewey, currently based in Kansas City, Missouri. Bison's journey began in their teenage years, organizing diverse art and music events spanning hardcore, shoegaze, indie, and hip-hop in the iconic, historic Old Stone Warehouse of Fredericksburg, Virginia. Having relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma, in late 2020, Bison dove further into their interest in becoming a producer/DJ and event promoter. Since settling in Kansas City in July of 2021, Bison has begun carving their niche, championing a spectrum of club and sound system genres when they’re behind the decks.
They now co-host Wavelength, a bi-monthly event that celebrates art, electronic music, and the flourishing community, spotlighting the talent of Midwest creatives in Kansas City. With a lifelong passion for music and people, Bison's influence transcends various genres, drawing inspiration from a rich tapestry of musical styles. Their move to the Midwest intensified their love for electronic music and soundsystem culture, inspired by the vibrant communities that surround it.
With an insatiable passion, they are always expanding and connecting with different audiences and communities through their love and interest in a diverse range of genres. One of Dewey's most profound intentions is to help others connect with themselves and one another through the power of music. Recognizing the universally transformative effect music can have on us all, Dewey aims to create a space where people can embrace their true selves, find solace, and build deeper connections within their community.
Through their own journey of exploration and growth, Dewey hopes to inspire others to know that they are limitless, and that any dreams can be turned into reality with passion and dedication. Each time they play, they invite the crowd to open their heart space, even if just for a moment. KENDRIXX (Kendur Herrera) - Wichita, Kansas
Inspired by the power of music as an art form, Kendurr has been producing music casually since 2016 leading up to the KENDRIXX project in 2023. Kendurr has been inspired by artists such as Rufus del Sol, Odesza, Kaskade, John Summit and Swedish House Mafia and he has found his groove in the genres of Tech House, Progressive House, Latin & Afro House and Melodic Techno.
Having amassed over 1.5 million views on YouTube and been talked about by Everything EDM, KENDRIXX is sure to get you up on your feet and moving.
When KENDRIXX isn't expressing himself through the magic of music as an art form, he spends his time playing soccer and golf, and works at Spirit Aerosystems as his day job.
KENDRIXX is what you get when you combine tech house, progressive house and melodic techno. He's ready to break norms and bring out creative mashups and blend together high energy tunes with feel good melodic drops.
