Had a good weekend in Cheney KS this last weekend at the 1st annual Tom Northcutt invite! Walked away with Grand Champion and had a great time with old and new friends! Vote for Jacqueline Kelly for Judge on August 6th! Such a great family.

Another great weekend doing what we love to do. Attended the 11th annual Smoke On The Plains competition in Derby this weekend. Had a very good cook. Finished 11th overall out of a stacked 30 team field.

We finished:

9th in pork

11th in ribs

11th in brisket The Butcher Shoppe

15th in chicken

Recorded our highest sanctioned score to date and look forward to building on it moving forward!

This past weekend we cooked at the inaugural Master Series event at the Rod Trowbridge memorial cook off as our first event of the year. A lot of good teams from all over the midwest were in attendance. We came home with our tail between our legs. Scores were very tight. Some of the judges loved what we put out and some of them hated it.. up next is the B3 BBQ Sauce cook off in Garden Plain!
