Thank you all for an amazing season! I loved every minute of handing out ice cream at so many different types of events throughout the summer. Unfortunately, I likely won't continue this business into 2023. I hauled around the cart with my Honda Civic and a utility trailer all summer..sometimes loading and unloading 3x a day in the triple digit heat. On top of my full time job, it was a lot. Maybe I will take limited bookings next year..we will see how I feel in the spring. Thank you all again for the support in helping this little dream of mine come true! ❤

🚨Public event alert!🚨I will be selling treats at the City of Derby's Third Thursday event this Thursday from 6-9 at Warren Riverview Park! This is a free event with art, live music and food.

We are excited to hold our first-ever Third Thursday on August 18 from 6 to 9 p.m. at both Warren Riverview Park and the Derby Public Library. This is a free community event that will be held on the third Thursday of August, September and October 2022.

Activities at the park include an artist exhibit by Rita Tillison with HeArt of God, LLC. Enjoy musical performances by Derby’s own J. Michael Terrell from 6 to 7:30 p.m. followed by the Lisa Hittle jazz trio from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

Food trucks at the park include Addie M’s Ice Cream Truck, Cheezepanzee, and Hot to Trot Gourmet Hot Dogs. Shaken or Stirred Bartending will be selling both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Activities at the Library include an artist reception for Kayann Ausherman from 6 to 7:30 p.m., and music by On Tap.

Our goal with Third Thursday is to connect our community with local artists while enjoying an evening of music, food, drinks and entertainment in our beautiful city parks.

Yesterday was a busy day - I was triple booked! I started the afternoon off at Great Image Designs, a custom tshirt shop downtown. This store is a gem, be sure to check it out.
