We are still alive and kicking down here in Willamina! There are several exciting shows this summer on the patio. This Wednesday July 17th we have a full band performance from and the evening will start with a cider tasting from then Audrey McLain will open with her sweet folk songs. $20 all ages

August 10th will delight with her good vibes and funk/jazz infused tunes to get you moving.

August 16th will have a full bank performance that involves elements of punk, folk, clogging and plenty of fiddle! This will be the first time they are back since well before the dark days of Covid.
there will also be two very special shows September 7th and September 28th that you’re gonna want to pay attention to.

There is a really special show happening this Saturday night Sept 16th. It is special for lots of reasons. This artist has played in Willamina a few times but it has been many years. He was to play at the Wildwood Music Festival that was planned but forced to cancel due to covid in 2020. It is also special to debut a new space that will allow music to happen year round at Oddfellows Pizza. This will also be the first time we are showing a film as an “opening act” a touching documentary, When It Breaks, was made about him and his other and I think first true passion being a special education teacher. It is just over an hour long and starts at 6pm. This is a ticketed event to be able to keep this kind of thing viable to continue to have live music such as this. Food and drink available from Oddfellows Pizza Co.

There are a couple of opportunities to get out to Willamina and see some stellar shows coming up. This coming weekend is the last show at Roshambo Artfarm with Beggars Canyon Sept 9th.
Then on Sept 16th Possessed by Paul James will be playing in a brand new indoor space at Oddfellows Pizza Co. The evening will start with a showing of the documentary When It Breaks about his struggles to be both a dedicated special education teacher and touring musician. Get your tickets in advance for $10 or $15 at the door. Free camping in the country 5 miles out of town for anyone attending that would like to stay over.

Although we aren’t having the big festival this year, Dan and I (Kim) are doing a concert series on the farm! Don’t worry though, we are all planning on having Wildwood back next year.
A lot has changed on the farm since our last festival despite the pandemic. We have opened an official tasting room space for Art+Science and are keeping regular summer hours fri-sun, 3pm-9pm, if you want to come out. We built a stage up in the upper field so we can do concerts under our tasting room umbrella (due to zoning/permitting rules we aren’t doing them in the quarry space).
Here’s a pic of the upcoming shows. HILLSTOMP snd BrotherBusk are coming up this weekend, and GLITTERFOX and Olivia Aubrey are next weekend. Then Roselit Bone and Sam Chase and the Untraditional later this summer.
We had our first one in June with Wanderlodge and The Turkey Buzzards and it felt so good to have music here again.

We have been watching and waiting to see how things will be looking this summer. While things are getting better and vaccines are happening, it seems too close to gamble on the ability to gather by July. We don’t want to do a watered down Wildwood. We want to see friends and families reunited and giving big hugs and kisses. We want to see big groups of kids playing together. Our sincere hope is that you agree and we can all unite with even more joy, love, acceptance, gratitude and MUSIC than ever before next July!
This has been a trying year for us all. We hope very much that you have found some silver linings in all of this. One such silver lining here at the farm is that the adorable and stunningly picturesque Art+Science Cider tasting room is open on the weekends after Memorial Day. Kim and Dan are even planning some socially distant evenings of music this summer. We will update as plans are made. It will be one way to enjoy a reminder of both the good times that have been had as well as a way to look forward.
