Bride math is some of the best math we’ve seen y’all! 🤣🙈⬇️

But really though…..”saving” here and there. And skipping some vendors can and will help you with your budget! It may not be as drastic as being able to open the bar all night if you save a couple hundred bucks on invites….but it can mean something!

What makes us different? ⬇️

We’ve been getting a lot of couples reaching out to us lately and we’re hearing that we’re different. We already had an inclination that we were, but to hear it makes us feel so good! So want to know what sets us apart from the other companies out there (who by the way, we know we have some awesome competition)! Here are just a few things:

✅ We are all extremely well-versed in Williamsburg and all that there is to offer. We know the ins and outs of every venue and have the inside scoop of how things are done and what is logistically allowed!

✅ All of us have backgrounds in planning large scale events at venues, big companies or even colleges. We have planned and executed for the luxury and for people just like you and us!

That’s a lot of freaking money y’all! 😩🤑

Let us educate you on something! The average cost per person in our area right now if you bring on professional companies to execute your wedding day averages $200-$400 per person once you add tax and gratuity. And that isn’t including all the additional vendors you will want and potentially need.

The sad and hard truth is that if you are having a 100 person wedding these days and you want to have professional wedding vendors executing your day, you need $20,000 - $40,000 just to cover their food/beverage and a few extra details.

This is just a snapshot of what planning a wedding is like for a couple doing it on their own!

Did you know the average amount of vendors hired for for your wedding in 2023, was 14? That means you are doing this chart, 14 times before your official planning can even begin! 🫢

This is where a wedding planner can save you significant amount of time and money by pointing you in the right direction from day one. We can do the research for you. We can handle the emails for you. And we can help you with the booking process.

Bottom line: A full wedding for us typically includes 400+ hours of work and we know what we are doing! If you aren’t considering full planning, you could be looking at double the amount of work.

It’s TRUE that we are seeing cost of food and beverage per person, much higher than in the past. Even bbq style meals are higher than past years. But why?

Just like everything else in our world, the cost of food itself and labor have skyrocketed. In order for the catering teams to still produce incredible events and make a profit, they have to increase their pricing to cover their costs.

A little personal holiday post from our owner, Jess:

Merry Christmas from our family to yours 🎄! We will be out of the office for the next week to enjoy all the holiday festivities that Williamsburg, Va has to offer. We have had an incredible year and will be closing out with 2 fabulous couples on December 30th!

Thank you to everyone who has supported us to allow us the time we have off to be with our families! We are forever grateful to all of you and can’t wait to see you in the new year 😍
