Heartbroken to hear about the passing of my friend Charles Chambers, known to the world as DJ Funk. One of the best producers and DJs out of Chicago, his energy and iconic vocals could light up any dance floor. My thoughts and condolences go out to his family during this difficult time. Rest in Peace.

One question I get mostly... Is what my musical influences are. I started DJing in the breakdance era, so that means Breakbeat, Electrofunk, Latin Freestyle and Chicago House. Later, I moved to EDM genres like Progressive & Tech House. Now I consider myself an Open-Format DJ, meaning, I can cross genre lines at the drop of a hat if fills a dancefloor.

Word to the wise... Be very careful who you hire to DJ your wedding or private party or you might end up with this guy. A wedding is a one-time event that must be handled carefully. The cheap DJ is usually not the right one to get. Research is key. This goes for whom ever you may hire to DJ your wedding.

With a lot of hard work, the Radio MidKnight station is up and running. Still have a few technical issues to work out but its up 24/7. Now I have just to decide what genres to play.
