Today I was reminded why I do what I do!

Let's be real for a minute, Mother's Day is not always easy for me. I lost my mom when I was 19, and some years are just harder, this happened to be one of those years. Mind you, nothing happened, it was just a mood.

Today I was invited to come and twist balloons for a care facility during an event they were having. I got to the facility, got all set up, and the residents started to roll in, literally. As they came in, I walked over to them and and offered them a balloon. I would make their request, hand in to them, and in return, receive a smile.

However, there was this one resident who was watching me the whole time. Every time that I looked over, she was sitting there, with the purple balloon flower I had made her, and the biggest smile on her face. It reminded me that I was created for a purpose! Even when it is not easy, I get to share a smile and laughter with someone who just might need it that day also!

While I can't share any pictures of the residents, I can share one of the client who brought me in! Thank you, Jerrica, for letting me share the day with you and your residents and helping me to remember why I am here!
