The end of the 2024 season is done. It was a hard growing year but looking back I still had plenty to harvest. Bring on 2025!

It's definitely not all rainbows and unicorns over here. So why not embarrass the chaos! Here's to more next year!

I finally got the daffodil patch mowed. After all the daffodils are harvested in the spring I always let it grow up for the bees, deer, birds and whatever other wildlife needs it. I then mow it down in late fall so the daffodils can come back up in the spring and then I will start the cycle again!

Another resin piece completed! This piece is a 24" round mold. My plan is to sell these as tables but this one is for me and will just be a round tray. These sunflowers I grew from seed and dried. I'm very happy with how this turned out!

I have been waiting to reveal my new project!
Here it is! My first resin project is complete! These are dried roses from my Grandma's garden. I surprised her with it for her birthday! I still have a lot to learn working with resin but I'm excited to make more and start selling different pieces.

Sunflower golden hour harvest! Year 4 and I still love getting arm loads of flowers. It never gets old! There are 4 different varieties in this bunch! White light, plum, strawberry blonde and I can't remember the 4th lol.

I have said it before and I'll say it again, flower farming is hard! This year has been even harder! I have dealt with bugs before but the deer and a groundhog have done a number on things! I have put up high fencing, low fencing, sprays, pee, animal hair, Irish spring soap, scarecrows, and at this point just keeping an eye out and scaring things away! This year has also brought high temperatures, high winds, and heavy rain storms. But through all of it the literal blood, sweat, dirt, and tears I will continue because I love growing beautiful flowers and I love being able to stay home as much as I can while earning a little income to be with my kids. So here's hoping for more blooms for the rest of the summer and a better season next year!
