Spring Creek Ranch, Winthrop, Wa.

Many of you first met our daughters when they were little girls running barefoot through the hay fields. A few weeks ago our oldest daughter, Ayla, graduated from high school. We welcomed several hundred community members, friends, and family to Spring Creek Ranch to celebrate the class of 2024.

This phase of parenting is like entering warp speed on a Star Trek episode––bodies and days and errands and meals and school swirl by in a blurry tangle of light, love and chaos.

I look forward to sharing more with all of you following along here to remember your time at Spring Creek Ranch and for those who dream of visiting.

Hello friends in the Methow Valley and surrounding areas. We (Cascades Event Rentals) are hiring for a full time time position. We need someone who can work through mid-October preferably. We do need to hire someone that can lift and haul heavy things. Experience in driving trucks and trailers is a bonus. We would love to hire someone that is looking for a long term job and wants to move up with the company, although that is not a must. We are willing to pay well for someone who is willing to put in the hard work! Pay can increase quickly as we see what they are capable of in this line of work. If you can think of anyone that loves to have their winters off to play in the snow and is willing to work hard in the spring/summer/fall to support thier winter play...this is the perfect job. If you could share this post and give my contact information to anyone you could think of...that would be awesome. We are a small business, mostly family and those that aren't blood relatives working with us, we think of them as family! We'd love to have another awesome person join our team/family. We have a lot of work in June, July and really though October. So the sooner we can hire the better! Please feel free to share this around. The more people who see it, the better! Thank you!
