Our last appetizer event at Blenker Construction for 2024! Design class and appetizers will commence again in January 2025. Featured this evening were mozzarella and pesto arancini, crab phyllo cups, and bread bowls with Brie, cranberries, and fresh rosemary. Festive and delicious!!

Our final Sip and Savor event with Blenker Construction for 2024! Thanks to Melissa Ellingson for teaching me how to take better pictures!! :) We started with creamy garlic humus and crostini, then a spinach salad with feta, apples, and toasted walnuts. The main course was chicken ricotta meatballs in a spinach alfredo sauce, served over linguine and/or spaghetti squash, and lemon garlic scallops. We finished with a Pumpkin Crunch Parfait that was to die for! We look forward to starting up these amazing supper events again in January 2025!

We had the honor of providing supper for the rehearsal dinner of the new Mr. and Mrs. Mortenson on Friday evening. Thank you, Ashtin and Kenzi, for letting us be part of your special day.

While we were cooking, Paige worked her magic with the table decor. As always, she delivered a beautifully inspired look that kept with Kenzi's "Autumn Neutral" theme.

We started with our warm Brussels Sprout salad - roasted Brussels Sprouts, seasoned pecans, and bacon - with Balsamic reduction for tangy goodness! Supper was Heidi's special porcini mushroom and peppercorn encrusted beef tenderloin, joined by roasted butternut squash with dried cranberries and feta, and Duchess potatoes - twice baked with parmesan, butter, and sour cream. We finished with a spiced pumpkin cheesecake with Bailey's whipped cream.

Thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Stenbender for allowing us to be part of their special day. We were planning to do apps and sides for their wedding supper, but due to a last-minute cancellation, we ended up doing the table charcuterie also. Paige's artistic ability never ceases to amaze us! Congratulations and Best Wishes to the happy couple!

Another successful dinner party! Thank you for having us, Jody Frahman! We started with wild rice-stuffed mushrooms with a cranberry-apple chutney and feta cheese. Next course was a mixed green salad with Heidi's Roasted Strawberry Vinaigrette dressing and Rosemary Garlic Focaccia. Gouda and apple-stuffed chicken breasts, herbed basmati rice, and peapods/carrots made a beautiful plate (which, in keeping with our track record, we forgot to photograph). We closed with a white cake with strawberry sauce accompanied by a Lemon Meringue martini.

What a fun evening! Blenker Construction cooking class at their spec home at 608 Briarwood Way in Plover -- gourmet kitchen, great food, and better company! We made a Mediterranean salad, choice of Spaghetti Squash or Linguine topped with chicken and creamy mushroom gravy, followed by lemon tarts for dessert. Lovely evening with a lovely group of ladies.
