Losing a loved one is never easy. Taking care of certain tasks, such as planning a repast or bereavement gathering, while grieving, is sometimes too much to handle. And then, even as time goes by, you might want to honor your loved one with a memorial gathering in their memory.

The average gown can take anywhere from 1-4 HOURS to steam. & Certain fabrics are very delicate, too delicate to use an iron on.

Some gown shops & seamstresses do not offer this service, or charge an arm & a leg, only for the gown to look wrinkled again the morning of.

As part of my services, I offer wedding/formal gown steaming for your special event! & can do it DAY OF.

As a formal gown consultant for 5+ years, please allow me to use my skills to make sure you are *perfect* to walk down the aisle!

How much is enough? 🤔

When it comes to gift giving for a celebration, especially a wedding or other formal occasion, is there a “correct” amount to gift?

Rose Petal Productions feels that you should gift, at minimum, an amount to at least cover the cost of your plate. For instance, if the event is at a fancy venue, that’s roughly $150 per person (in Connecticut). But also, gift within your means. Maybe you have travel expenses related to the event to consider too.

Either way, gifts should always be accepted & not expected.

Wedding gowns have changed SO much throughout history, but my 1 tip to all my brides is: try to find a gown that when you look back 50 years from now, you will still love it, & that you won’t be embarrassed to have your kids or grandkids see you in. Trends are just that-a trend. They come & go. But classy is always in style!

~ monitored the couples budget
~ selected the menu
~ arranged the baker
~ monitored the RSVP list
~ helped the florist & venue decorate & set up
~ arranged the couples playlist
