The girls are busy working on Violet’s birthday party decor of paper snowflakes & a pink wooden tea set. Can you believe the snowflakes are made out of paper lunch bags?!

I layered 8-10 lunch bags, hot gluing each bag as I layered each one. I then cut out a design on each side of the bags. I just avoided cutting the bottom of the bags. The girls painted a few pink & purple to match our party theme.

The tea set I found at Target. It’s adorable and we used an assortment of pink hues and purple paint. I will also seal it.

This year I decided to decorate our tree with a “White Christmas” theme. 🤍 I’m obsessed!
I just love how much they pop. My husband was a huge fan of this style so I’m thinking it may be a continual theme we do.

We made some felt trees!! 🌲🌲 Such an easy craft that’s adorable to hang up! We grabbed the felt trees at the Dollar Tree then the glitter foam stickers I found somewhere I can’t recall, but I see them everywhere. I love how my oldest thought to make string lights with the stickers. They even both created their own tree topper.

We made some yummy Carmel Apple Dippers!! This is a favorite of mine for the fall 🍂🍁 The girls love it & it makes such a yummy little treat.
This time I kept the Carmel and chocolate sauce in fondue warmers to keep it warm (worked like a charm) For toppings I used mini marshmallows, fall sprinkles, pumpkin seeds, crushed Oreo, crushed Heath bars, coconut, Reese pieces, candy corn and raisins. Perfect little treat / activity for this Thanksgiving.

We made fabric pumpkins using toilet paper!! 🧡
My mother and my oldest daughter had a blast making these adorable pumpkins.

Here are the steps.

1. Place a roll of toilet paper in the middle of your fabric of your choice.
(I used fabric measuring 18x22 inches)

2. Then bring the corners of the fabric up to the top of the toilet paper roll.

3. Using a stick (we used a rolling pin) push in the fabric into the toilet paper roll opening.

4. We then used a cinnamon stick and artificial green leaves to create the stem and leaves & attached with hot glue

They are adorable! I’m obsessed! 🧡

Little late, but I had to share this adorable sensory rice bucket I made for the girls this Halloween. I dyed the rice orange & bow tie paste black to be bats. The pom poms were a hit as we created several games using them and the rice. The girls loved dumping and scooping the rice in the assortment of Halloween themed bucks. It was a hit!!

I’ll make sure to re-post this next year!

My suggestion for dying rice or pasta is 1 tb spoon of white vinegar per 1 cup of solid item. Place vinegar, solid item and food coloring into a zip lock, mix and then set to dry overnight.

My 2023 fall themed games! Each year I try to come up with a few new ones to add to our party. 🧡

This year I created a spider ball pit which consisted of fall colored ball pit balls, plastic spiders & nets! You had to collect as many spiders you can.

I also created my personal fav “candy corn toss” where I attached candy corn colored cups to wooden crates into a candy corn formation. The kids then tossed ping pong balls into the cups. Each color had a different amount of points you could get!

I have so much fun creating these games! I hope I inspire some of you to create these games for your kiddos! Happy Halloween 🧡👻🦇

I had so much fun coming up with ideas & creating stuff for this party. Since last year we have been having a “fall party” for our daughters and their friends which ultimately turned into a more Halloween focused party this year. All the treats looked so adorable, were super yummy & so easy to make!

I have an easy Halloween craft for the kiddos! 🎃👻Holiday themed slime using nail art glitter!

I have been doing this a lot lately for each holiday & it’s been a hit with our girls. I purchased nail glitter for a specific holiday along with an assortment of colored slime. We use “cloud slime” as the girls love the feeling of it. The nail art containers are usually pretty flimsy so I often will place the glitter in a paint pallet to avoid a huge mess. It’s super easy, inexpensive & fun!

One of my favorite fall activities is pumpkin painting. Such an easy activity and once I seal the paint with sealant it makes the cutest decor item too! It’s always a hit at our house!

She’s boo-tiful 👻 I love this macrame ghost I created. I used cut a half circle out of cardboard and then attached white macrame with my hot glue gun. I then peeled apart each strand to created more volume for the ghost. I then made eyes and a mouth out of black felt. I then attached a little hook on the back to hang up the ghost. I’m obsessed and want to make more!!

I created a little haunted house out of a pink dollhouse from the Dollar Tree! ✨

I saw this idea somewhere on social media and I just had to do it! I put a battery tea light behind the house to give it a little fun glow & it’s adorable!! 🎃

Such a easy little craft to add to your Halloween decor.

The Wolfes Den is embracing fall 🍁🍂
As much as I love the new fall decor trends like black/which and hues of pink … I just can’t move away from the rustic fall colors in our home decor. There is something about the orange, red and yellow hues that make it so cozy for me. I can never get enough of fabric pumpkins!!

We made a family ghost thumb print pumpkin!! 👻🎃
I have been seeing this idea on social media for bit & thought it was so adorable. We had everyone in the family make thumb prints all over the pumpkin. My oldest wanted to make sure she made a sister ghosts so the two together are my girl’s print “hugging”

I used acrylic paint since it does well when wet as this pumpkin will be outside. I also sealed with outdoor protective spray (I like the one scotch makes)

My favorite new little tradition is having a bird house painting party with the family. We have a nice shed that overlooks our yard that we want to collect bird houses on. So I decided why not make some of our own! The girls had a blast and so did Dad 🥰

What was so nice about this is that we found a local person who handmade the bird houses making them even more special.

Here are my custom desserts, craft activities & party favors for my daughter’s groovy themed Birthday party. The chocolate daisy pops were a hit! But my favorite was the favors, which was play dough with groovy charms. They came out so cute! 🌼
