A big thank you to the Cross County Chamber of Commerce for having Hogapalooza cater their annual chamber banquet. A crowd of over 400 attended this year’s banquet.

Special thanks to the Wynne High School ROTC. These young men and women volunteer to help with the banquet every year. We could not do this without their help. Much thanks. You are awesome. The Hogapalooza team was simply, “amazing”!

The 2025 Razorback Invitational Track Meet ended like it always does, with the Hogs men and women DOMINATING!!!! We had a super large time in Fayetteville. Thanks to Coach Bucknam for having us back. I think this was our 8th year in a row.

This past year has been a crazy one for Hogapalooza. We have traveled all over the country with this bar-b-que thing. We have truly been blessed. We’ll try it again in 2025.

December was a blurr. It has become our busiest month of the year. I hope everyone enjoyed the food at their event. Thank you all. Truly honored.

Hogapalooza teamed up with Wrights Barbecue in Fayetteville last weekend for the first annual Wrights-A-Palooza. It was a lot of fun and a huge success. Thanks to everyone that stopped by. We recently catered the wedding reception of Jaylie and JD Laurens. Jaylie is the daughter of Kim & Terris Mathews of Wynne.

This was a big one. Lots of family and friends gathered for a beautiful ceremony on a sweet autumn evening.

The menu was stacked. We had a spread featuring smoked whole hog, bbq sliders, mashed potato bar, sweet potato bar, sausage & cheese platter, vegetable platter, pickle & pepper platter, cole slaw, chocolate fountain with lots of goodies for dipping, and a lot of help. Ha

Thanks to Terris, Kim, and Jaylie for asking us to cater this special day. A great pleasure for us. Also, thanks to the best group of friends ever for all the help. My family, simply the best. Your help and support is always unbelievable. All of you make this thing go. See ya down the road.

Hogapalooza just returned from Louisville, Kentucky. We teamed up with our good friend, Chef Matty Boudreau, to cook at the Bourbon & Beyond Food and Music Festival. Matty had it rolling for sure. Glad we were able to help him and be a part of this event.

This thing was HUGE! The four day event pulled in over 204,000 people. They used four main stages for the bands. Pretty amazing. Around 130 bands performed, and vendors sold every kind of food imaginable.

Some of the musicians included, Sting, Dave Mathews Band, Zach Bryan, Beck, Black Pumas, The Beach Boys, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Whiskey Myers, Lyle Lovett, The Wallflowers, Matchbox Twenty, and on and on.

Much love and safe travels to Chef Matty and his wife Lianne as they head to Spain very soon for the next chapter in their lives. Love ya bro.

Ok, time to catch up. So, in the last week and a half or so, Hogapalooza has fed over 1000 people combined, through four different catering events. Needless to say, it’s been a real challenge, but I kind of like that. Again, my family and friends are the true troopers. Most of these people are still working through their various careers. Then, after work, they come and help me. TRULY BLESSED!

Jack Thomas with the G Club, located outside of Pansy, Arkansas. Way down south. We cater for their annual s***t shoot.

Wynne Baptist Church in Wynne, Arkansas. Truly enjoyed catering for the Missions Is Church Planting Conference. A capacity crowd attended this event. Missionaries from across the globe spoke at this event.

Thank you to Amber Peevey with Conteva Agri Science / Pioneer. Hogapalooza catered three separate luncheons for her company. We enjoy being involved with the agricultural segment of our community. It is such a big part of who we are in the Delta.

At the end of the week, we catered for the “Meet the Jackets” dinner. This was an evening for the community to gather before the start of the Yellowjackets football season. The Yellowjacket football team, coaches, band, and cheerleaders were recognized at the dinner. It was a great night. The Yellowjacket fight song was played by the band at the end of the evening with everyone joining arms. It brings back great memories. Thanks to the Wynne Fumble Club.
