My dear flower friends, due to the continuing drought and intense heat we will, very sadly, be closing for the season a whole month sooner than anticipated. Happy hump day! And I just want to let you all know that our fence has been repaired and the gate is now open to our gravel drive, which is the usual entrance to the flower u-pick! I’m expanding our weekend hours to match our weekday hours so we are now open daily 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.! Hope to see you soon!

Picking flowers for a wedding rehearsal dinner! Aren’t they gorgeous?! We are open for our regular business hours! As you can see the sunflowers are beginning to bloom! There are a variety of colors and they are so beautiful! There is no extra charge for sunflowers when adding them to your mixed flower bouquet. If you’d like to pick strictly sunflowers, they are $3 a stem

What’s blooming? Blanket Flower, Bachelor Buttons, Chinese Forget-Me-Nots, Shasta Daisies, Sweet William, Larkspur, Poppies, Spotted Bee Balm, Coreopsis, & Babies Breath.
Highlight on Bee Balm or Horse Mint;
It is an herb that is an anti inflammatory. I think it looks so lovely and unique in a bouquet!

First bouquet of the year and I am just ecstatic! This season we will have several more varieties of flowers than we did last year! I know, can you believe it?! The perennials that were seeded last year and didn’t have time to germinate, grow, and bloom are making up for lost time and quickly joining the party! Can you believe these Shasta daisies?! I love them! Also pictured; Dames Rocket, Bachelor buttons, and Crimson Clover. You can expect to find these flowers and many more as our flower u-pick opens this Sunday! See my last reel for details! Can’t wait to see you!

Oh to bee lulled asleep on a flower by the warm breezes of summer…a dream on this wintry, gray day. But it’s my birthday, my 60th in fact! And I am dreaming of flowers and how I love them! I always, always want fresh flowers on my birthday! And now that I am a flower farmer I’m thinking how wonderful it would be to gift some to you!
