We are looking at potentially having another event in October. We want to start the planning process now, so we will need volunteers for our upcoming events. We will need volunteers for the following:

Ticket table at entry
Chinese auction table
Concessions stand
Chaperones

To volunteer, we require that you have your PA state criminal background and child abuse clearances. These clearances are FREE, and you can get them online. If you need the website and where to access them, feel free to message us.

ONLY 2 DAYS AWAY!!!

If you haven't got your tickets yet, that's a scary idea, but don't worry! We will have tickets at the door if you plan on coming last minute or if you want to bring a friend the day of! There is no upcharge for day of tickets!

Also, if you buy a ticket online between now and this weekend, it will be available for pickup at the door unless you want to pick them up ahead of time!

You can purchase them online at www.themergetix.com, or they will be available at the Oil City Moose Lodge and Casey's Restaurant & Lounge today (9/2) after 2pm. They are $10 each or 2 for $15!! (2 ticket deal for this event only.)

Please remember, that due to the football games that weekend, BOTH nights are for ages 11-17! We would recommend that if you will NOT be attending the away football games for Oil City and Franklin on 10/20, to purchase tickets for Friday night, that way we can save Saturday's tickets for the kids who WILL be attending the games. IT'S OFFICIAL!!! WE ARE BACK!!!

Join us Friday and Saturday, October 20th and 21st for our huge Halloween Party! All the fun of The Merge, spooky style! We will be having a costume contest for various prizes totaling over $200!!! We will have other giveaways on our heavily popular Chinese auction table, plus our Selfie Station and Concessions Stand for those pictures and snacks!

This event will be held at the Oil City Moose Lodge, with 250 tickets available for each night. They are $10 each, with a part of the proceeds benefitting Youth Connection and Youth Alternatives. Due to the football games, we will not be restricting ages for this event. Ages 11-17 can attend either night with a purchased ticket. However, if you buy a ticket for Friday, you must attend Friday. Dates will be on the tickets.

Online tickets will pre-sale on our website, www.themergetix.com, Wednesday, August 30th at 5pm. Live tickets can be purchased starting this Saturday, September 2nd, at the Oil City Moose Lodge and Casey's Restaurant & Lounge. Friendly reminder that there is no glow party this weekend and it has been postponed to a future date. Please share this post to let everybody who planned on attending know. Thank you! :)

It is with much regret that we inform that The Merge presents: GLOW has been postponed due to lack of ticket sales. Unfortunately, we were unable to sell any tickets for Saturday night, and only 3 for Friday night to this event. We have hope that we can revisit this event in September, as we are working on something in August.

With a lot of our kids responses being that they arent sure what these events are or what the point of them is, here are some things to remember about our events:

1. Unless it is listed as such, our events are non-formal and do not require proper dress to attend. These are casual dress events and meant for the kids to come, hang out, relax, and have a good time.

2. We market it as a dance event because we encourage the kids to dance and have a good time, but it is not required. If the kids want to come and just hang out at a table and talk with other friends, it is encouraged!

3. The point is to create a space for them to hang out and be with friends in an environment that can be fun and entertaining. We have music, will be incorporating games, and have our Selfie Station for them to come and take pictures to share with others and just enjoy the night.

We are encouraging suggestions from your kids on how we can make our events more successful! Please feel free to let us know in the comments! Thank you to all who shared and encouraged others to attend!
