This year has been crazy, but I praised God in the middle of the storm. I truly haven't ever been this sick and yet I'd praise God with every short breath I took.

The other day I was hanging out with a friend. This friend is a Christian, but she doesn’t always act, speak or think like one. Some days she is completely in line with God’s Word, and some days her life is a struggle that gets the best of her.
As our eyes met, I really wanted to say something about it but I decided to let the Lord speak to her heart knowing nothing that I say will have the same impact as the Father’s words.
So…. I prayed with her, and after some time had passed I winked at her and walked away from the mirror.
I try every day and I fail everyday. I am so not perfect, I am a work in progress and I'm thankful for God’s grace and His promises to His believers.

NOT EVERYBODY KNOWS ABOUT FOOD STAMPS & RAMEN NOODLES AND SOME DON'T KNOW ABOUT WALKING TO THE LAUNDROMAT WITH BIG BAGS OF CLOTHES, BOILING WATER ON THE STOVE FOR BATHS, LIGHTING CANDLES IN THE HOUSE BECAUSE THE POWER WENT OFF & NOT BECAUSE IT WAS STORMING. SOME DON'T KNOW ABOUT HAND ME DOWNS, SECOND HAND CLOTHES, SLEEPING ON THE COUCH OR THE FLOOR.
SOME DON'T KNOW ABOUT GETTING GROCERIES AT A FOOD PANTRY OR WAITING IN A LUNCH LINE FOR A MEAL, OR TURNING THE OVEN ON TO HEAT THE HOUSE. SOME DON'T KNOW ABOUT HAND WASHING CLOTHES IN THE TUB OR IN THE SINK AND DRYING IT ON A CLOTHES LINE. SOME DON'T KNOW ABOUT SHOWERING AT SOMEONE ELSE'S HOUSE.
IF YOU HAVEN'T STRUGGLED, I DON'T EXPECT YOU TO UNDERSTAND.
I NEVER ATE FROM A SILVER SPOON THEREFORE I WILL NEVER MAKE FUN OF ANOTHER PERSON WHO STRUGGLES...WHERE MUCH IS GIVEN MUCH IS REQUIRED. IT MADE ME WHO I AM TODAY. WE ADAPT, WE OVERCOME & WE SURVIVE !!

I've been laying low as I prayed for her to be able to stay here with us. We're finally almost 30 weeks & I know God's blessing is here to stay. So I'm coming out of my hiding place, happy to announce our Baby Girl is due September 6, 2022.
