On this episode of The Spin Cycle we have another intricate mix by one of our founding fathers, Popuh. Popuh has been a staple in the North Florida house scene for almost 10 years, getting his start as a radio DJ in college. Popuh has honed his craft over those years, pulling inspiration from multiple genres to create a diverse sound. This mix is a great example of that as it starts out soulful, giving you uplifting and bouncy beats before turning up the heat and adding in techy flare while maintaining the lyrical flow throughout the set.

You can find Popuh at Hoptinger 5 Points every Saturday on the rooftop, as well as playing and headlining shows all around North Florida.

🔄It’s Spin Cycle Friday🔄

This weeks episode of The Spin Cycle is long over due. We are excited to feature BOI on our first mix of 2025. BOI is an up and coming house and techno selector from Daytona, Florida. Typically his style leans towards the melodic techno and indie dance sound, but in this mix BOI showcases his flow of energy and range of selection. You will have trouble sitting still through the duration of this musical journey. You can find BOI playing at Electric Winter Wonderland (EWW) Festival in Elkton, Florida later this month.

December 20th we are taking over for their annual holiday FUNdraiser! All ticket proceeds will go towards . They run an amazing program which helps provide service animals to children with autism.

For our takeover we have its.chad, T.Laabs, Ezra Law and Lewis ID coming out to spread some holiday cheer.

its.chad is all about the minimal but you can always expect the unexpected with him. He has a way of putting the crowd in a trance of dance and has quickly gained recognition around North East Florida.

T.Laabs is known for his movers and groovers. His sets are filled with his own IDs that never fail to get the crowd on the dance floor. He pulls inspiration from rap and RnB samples which allows the crowd to relate with him on another level.

Ezra Law is one of the most talented DJs in Jacksonville. Her ability to move from soulful house into deep techno is flawless. Her track selection is ever evolving and she has an innate ability of captivating her audience and taking them on a ride through sound.

Lewis ID is one of our founders and owners, his music style blurs the lines between house and techno. He gravitates towards dark and strange sounds that leave the crowd feeling like they just stepped into a black hole. If you listen closely you’ll be sure to hear a few unreleased IDs in each set he plays.

Since the beginning, Rinse and Repeat has worked to be a place of love and acceptance for those who feel like estranged from normal society. Through the shared love of music and the cathartic power of dance we’ve brought together strangers from all walks of life who have been transformed into friends and over time formed a family. Now, more than ever, we need to be a strong community for each other to lean on.

On November 16th, we will be having our final event of 2024 at Ocean Street Tequila. We would love nothing more than for you to join us in unity on the dance floor and help us create sparks of light in the darkness. Electronic music has always been and will continue to be the voice of the underground and of the resistance, and we have no plans on changing that. We hope to see you for one final dance to close out this year. We love you.

Since we started Rinse and Repeat the bucket hat has been our most requested piece of attire. We are excited to officially launch this new addition into the Rinse and Repeat Apperal collection. All hats have been locally embroidered as a way to further support small businesses in our community.

Originally from Venezuela, Yari has been making his mark in central Florida in the techno community. As a resident Dj with Ethereal Sounds, a central Florida based techno group, you can find him playing in Orlando and Tampa regularly. As a producer, Yari has tracks signed across North America, South America and Europe, and has reached the top charts on BeatPort.

This mix is filled with tasty techno tunes that will transport you to a hazy dark room with pulsating lights. Yari showcases his diversity within the genre and blends together these tracks seamlessly. Introducing your Rinse and Repeat Class of 2024!

We are excited to announce that this year we brought on two new incredible selectors, Ezra Law and T.Laabs, to join the Rinse and Repeat crew. Over the past few years these two have gone from friends to family and we couldn’t be happier to have them represent the Rinse and Repeat brand. Ezra Law and T.Laabs have been making waves around Northeast Florida with their monthly First Friday at Flamingo shows. They each have a unique dialed in sound that meshes perfectly together.
