Come welcome the Christmas cheer with Thistle and Stem 🖤

Join us at Chula where we will learn all things wreath by candle light and soft Christmas melodies. There will be an abundance of seasonal materials, metallic spray paints and ribbons readily available to create the wreath of your dreams.

We encourage everyone to think of these as seasonal decor, not to be taken down after the Christmas cheer has left us but left adorning your homes until they crumble to the ground.

The wreaths will last fresh between 3-4 weeks slowly transforming into a unique dried sculpture. Fresh flos and foliage can be added into your wreath to take you straight into spring.

Our Story

Hailing from Australia, where I studied both Fashion and Floral Design my arrangements intend to marry these two design schools.

My green thumb and a love for aesthetics stems back to my own mother, an artistically skilled dressmaker and gardener who could often be found tending to the hypnotising greenery of our acreage.

I aim to take all the elements of design I acquired in Fashion and the techniques I learnt both studying and working in the Floristry industry to create evocative floral art that practices a free flow movement to trick the eye into believing in a sustained growth once placed in a vase.
