2024 thật sự là một năm đáng nhớ đối với dự án, bắt đầu với những ý tưởng sáng tạo đầu tiên vào tháng Hai và khép lại bằng sự thành công của Re.imagine Vol. 1 vào tháng Mười Một. Thành công này sẽ không thể đạt được nếu thiếu sự đồng hành và hỗ trợ từ các đối tác, bạn bè và tất nhiên là các khán giả tuyệt vời.

Bước sang năm 2025, Re.imagine rất hào hứng chia sẻ rằng Vol. 2 đã bắt đầu được lên ý tưởng, và những thông tin chi tiết sẽ được tiết lộ sớm tới tất cả mọi người.

For Re.imagine, Fustic. joined forces with classical musicians to create a pioneering visual system that seamlessly incorporates cutting-edge technologies such as generative algorithms, machine learning, and real-time interactivity. This system reimagines the tactile beauty of oil painting and the artistry of the painting process, transforming it into a vibrant digital experience.

A bespoke system were designed and developed for the Re.imagine project by the Fustic. team.

👁️ The Technology Behind Re.imagine Concert Vol.1

For the first edition of Re.imagine, Fustic. collaborated with classical musicians to develop an innovative visual system using generative technology, machine learning, and real-time interactivity. This system digitally recreates the physical essence of oil painting, capturing real-time performance data—such as sound and gestures—to generate painterly motions like smearing, brushing, and blending. In the Vol. 1 concert, musicians became co-creators, shaping dynamic visuals projected onto LED screens, transforming the space and architecture in real-time.

🎻 Meet the classical musicians of Re.imagine Concert Vol.1

✨ Emil Kleve
An English-Norwegian violinist and composer, Emil’s career spans solo performances, chamber collaborations, and original compositions. Trained at the Royal Academy of Music in London and the Barratt Due Institute in Oslo, he is celebrated for his versatility and innovative approach to classical music.

✨ Hoàng Hồ Khánh Vân
Born in 1995, Vân is a Hanoi-based violinist renowned for her dynamic performances as a soloist, ensemble artist, and educator. A graduate of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Hungary, she has won numerous international awards and regularly collaborates with leading orchestras in Vietnam and abroad.

✨ Ngô Phương Vi
Vi began her piano journey at the age of 3 in Vietnam before earning scholarships to study in the U.S. and Austria. With accolades from international competitions, she has performed solo and with orchestras across Asia and Europe, gaining recognition for her emotive and versatile artistry.

✨ Trần Hồng Nhung
A Vietnamese cellist trained at prestigious conservatories in Russia and the Netherlands, Nhung is known for her vibrant technique and emotional depth. She has performed widely as a soloist and ensemble member and currently plays with the Sun Symphony Orchestra in Hanoi.

✨ Svetlana Golubovskaya
Hailing from Minsk, Svetlana is a talented violist who studied at the National Academy of Music in Belarus. She has performed with renowned chamber orchestras and now serves as Principal Violist of the Sun Symphony Orchestra in Hanoi, captivating audiences with her rich tone and expressive playing.

Fustic. is a Hanoi-based future-forward multidisciplinary creative studio that blends art with emerging technology. The studio was founded by the three Vietnamese visual artists Trung Bảo, Hải Doãn and Nam Lê. Fustic. specializes in innovative visual and experiential strategies to communicate ideas, collaborate with leading organizations, and pioneer new media projects.

As the creative minds behind the technology driving the visuals and interactive performances of Re.imagine, Fustic. aims to deliver a multi-sensory experience that offers audiences a fresh and intimate perspective on classical music, redefining how it is experienced by connecting tradition with innovation.

From early beginnings at the Vietnam National Academy of Music to mastering his craft in Norway, Minh has brought his passion for classical music back to Vietnam. Re.imagine is a long-cherished project of Minh, created to bring a fresh perspective to classical music in Vietnam and introduce innovative, engaging experiences to audiences. Minh currently leads the project as its creative director and music director, shaping its artistic direction.
