Saigon Supperclub x Nas Daily👋

🥰Saigon Supperclub was launched 7 months ago out of our founder .chan rooftop and just this weekend, we co-hosted a dinner with Nas Daily in Vietnam!

🫶This was a gathering for some of Vietnam’s most influential and committed community leaders and creators. And, naturally being a community ourselves (Saigon Supperclub has around 400 people now), we couldn’t say no.

With less than a week to go to Saigon Supperclub Volume 7, I thought to share a little bit more about what to expect👇

Tucked away in a converted old kindergarten, this rustic bistro-style eatery doubles as a daytime café serving up generous portions of traditional Vietnamese favourites. However, as night falls, it transforms into one of the town's best-kept secrets: a modern Vietnamese hotspot.

Quite perhaps one of our favourite craft spirit brands in Vietnam. This award-winning Vietnamese craft rum is one our founder Jovel has written numerous times about. Meet Chi Trang, the owner and farmer that we organize family-style Vietnamese dinners using farm-to-table ingredients like seasonal vegetables, homemade "mắm" & fruit wine straight from her farm in An Phu, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City.

We've been working with chi Trang for almost 6 months now and have hosted company dinners as well as our own version of a Vietnamese-American Thanksgiving at her farmhouse to showcase Vietnamese farm-to-table ingredients and food culture to the world.

Bringing all the stories about tastemakers, restaurants and Vietnamese craft spirits is definitely one of the most rewarding things to do.

Without a doubt, the food and drink has to be top-rate but beyond eating and drinking, things that keep people returning (most of our diners are repeat) are discovery of new products like farm-to-table duck and pheasant from Vietnam, learning from tastemakers about food and drink and of course, connecting with like-minded individuals in casual, organic and esoteric environments.

Diners from have even connected outside and met up for dinners!

Volume 005 #𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯, a Friendsgiving festive spread with a nod to Vietnam hosted inside a rustic organic farmhouse in District 2 using farm-to-table locally-sourced ingredients.

Together we made it the most crowded Supperclub Dinner so far with 18 people-1 dinner in the warm and welcoming space of Yumi Farm.

Together, we dined, loved and laughed with appreciation to share the moments. Menu was perfectly prepared for the Thanksgiving vibe: family-style Vietnamese and American Thanksgiving classics. Turkey and Pumpkin pie for sure from Eddie's - New York Deli and Diner (which was on spot!!!) with Ginger & Apple Cider from Saigon Cider to add-on sparkling for the night, water from Sanpellegrino and Acqua Panna, Classic Fine Foods Vietnam thanks to our sponsors - we had really great time back there!

The more the merrier, that’s exactly how our Supperclub experience is aiming to. Cheers for the friendship, partnership while we share the passion of Saigon’s food and drink scene!

Our latest supperclub dinner features returning Chef Thach Ta (ex-Le Cordon Bleu London and at Dinner by Heston Blumenthal) inside his private kitchen alongside a selection of old and new world French wines sourced directly from vineyards and winemakers Marrenon Vignobles en Luberon et Ventoux by ATC Wine Merchant

At the dinner, we served up Modern-Vietnamese dishes by Chef Thach Ta such as Pickled Salted Lemon Tart (my personal favorite), Homemade dumplings with 'Canh Chua' Consommé and Coastal Lamb Tenderloin with green goddess devilled sauce.
Two days, 9 people per dinner, 18 enthusiastic eaters and merry drinkers both from Vietnam and friends traveling from overseas! 🫶 Very happy to see known to friends from abroad as a means to discover and experience Saigon's food and drink scene.
