School holidays and the kids and I are down South with family. There was a good frost this morning so we got out to capture its beauty and experience the crunch of grass under foot and break ice in the puddles.
Back home the plants were all tucked away under covers before we left.

Sadly this will be my last weekend of flowers. The last of the summer plants need to come out so the spring ones can go in.

Friday Forage Flowers! Mixing it up and supplying flowers to today. Between end of term activities and wanting to get ahead of the rain I thought it best to do the flowers when they were at their best. So get into Forage today for a flower fix.

The Cosmos is in full bloom. Maybe I didn’t use enough in the other bouquets or maybe I planted too much. 🤔😆 Either way I made this bunch of only Cosmos. I think there’s a beautiful simplicity to a bouquet of only one variety of flower.
(But if it’s not your thing all other bunches at Forage Merchants of Wellington today are my normal mixed bouquets.)
