This Wednesday on our Transmission show from 8.30pm, Paul Dupree’s guests are National Young Drummer Of The Year, Tyler Baker, whose self-produced, written and performed debut album and project Gasoline Green has to be one of the best albums of the year so far. Not bad for someone who’s still only 15 years old. Tyler will be playing some of his material live in the studio.

Josh and Carley of JAR Records will be on hand ahead of their showcase night featuring Alison and MAGIC SEAS this Thursday at Hot Box.

After 10pm, Our archive guest appearance from the last 8 years and 1000 guests is from June 2016, and Lemoncurd Kids’ first visit to the show, and we’ll be hearing their heavy heavy new release too.

We’ll also be previewing this Friday’s Electronic night at Hot Box, with music from artists Moulshy, MetroGlow and Hell Feeder playing live on the night and also what to expect from DJs Paul and Chris Piper who’ll be spinning tunes on the night until the small hours.

New music includes the latest from Leo Walrus, A Cause In Distress and Broken BEAR.

And if there’s any time left there’ll be news of upcoming events at our local music venues.

Discussing all JAR - featuring Carley North

This Wednesday's archive guest appearance on the show after 10pm comes from 22nd June 2016.

We've hosted Lemoncurd Kids a number of times in various permutations, and the conversation has always been lively to say the least, but I've chosen the first time they visited us as it's the whole band, and a real snapshot in time, especially with their having just released their first album..

As well as much of the spoken word from that night, you'll hear their brand new heavy heavy release "You Make Me...".

Wednesday night on CCR, shows starts from 8.30pm and also features Josh and Carley from JAR Records and the incredible Tyler Baker playing live.
