There’s not anyone still alive on this earth who’s more qualified to make a post like this than . (Of whom I consider to probably be the best “Dj remixer” ever)

I think it’s time to separate the DJ’s from the Artist/producers. We truly need two categories to protect the art form. It’s not to say that there won’t be some overlap but if there is it will only be those who truly represent the best of both worlds. What say you?

Statement concerning - Stephen Vandenberg-Owens

I have chosen to hold back till this point over my statement regarding Stephen because it has been too upsetting to put this into words.

Almost 3 years ago I started working heavily with Stephen because he made so many promises regarding working with him. As most of us have fallen for. Our business relationship was on of subcontractor and part stock owner.

Stephen’s promises were if I helped him delivering items to venues such as selfie mirrors, doughnut walls and post box’s I would be paid for this work.

He would pay me in fuel delivery charges, delivery charges aswel as DJing for his nights. This amount grew exponentially in a short amount of time.

Stephen also asked me to take part in celebrity nights where if I gave him ex amount of money I would receive more money beck as a bonus. To which I eventually found out these nights weren’t true and never existed.

I bought a selfie mirror with my own money that I never saw a return on and he kept as an agreement when we parted ways he would pay me back for. Money iv never seen back.

Within almost a year I realised something wasn’t right and I made the choice to part ways with him nearly a year and a half ago. Because the amount was becoming far too much.

Since that time Stephen was paying off what he owed me at a small amounts each week. I have recently also completed more Dj work, again trusting him which I have not been paid for.

Obviously this is just a brief outline of what has happened but I wanted people to know my story as I think it’s important.

The fact is Stephen owes me £29,000+ which I will never see again.

I am destroyed and so upset because I treated this man like a son over the years and wanted to help him.
