This event is a powerful testament to the strength and resilience of our comunidad, made possible by the unwavering support of our familia, supporters, donors, and community. We couldn't do this transformative work without you.

A special thank you to Summit Credit Union for their transformational support, propelling our movement to close the gender wage gap by building awareness through storytelling. At Midwest Mujeres, we believe that through storytelling, individuals can find liberation and achieve financial growth.

Join us in celebrating these stories of empowerment and be inspired to take action toward financial independence and gender equity.

(Image description: Midwest Mujeres is celebrating disability pride month in their social media post there is a Latina mother assisting her disabled son, they appear to be laughing)

HAPPY DISABILITY PRIDE MONTH!

Did you know that Disability Pride is celebrated in July?

This date is born as a recognition and celebration
For the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act)

Officially, since 2015) in the U.S. the 1990 law defined many other laws establishing civil rights for disabled folks in the rest of the world 🌍.

🙌🏼🥰🎤 So this month is a time to celebrate our identities, tell our own stories, and recognize the fight💯✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿

It is a moment of reflection to define how to be better allies for the community with disabilities.
