I am an Open Format DJ, I play All Genres of music because i love it all... I cater to my crowds and Born and raised in NY.

I have been DJing since the age of 15. Picked up the art by watching a few of my friends back home in upstate New York. Thanks to Enrique Lopez and DJ Ray Torres they really inspired me to take this art to another form. Through the years there have been a lot of DJs that have influenced me to keep this game going. The one and only DJ AM was one of the best and talented DJs out there, He taught me

that there isn't just one style of music to mix, he taught that you can DJ all types of Genres of music in one set. Since then i have made it my goal to never stick to one Genre of Music. Thank You DJ AM we have lost you in the physical sense but not in our hearts. I reside in Virginia Now and I am married to a wonderful woman. I have 4 biological children 3 Boys and 1 Girl and i also have 3 step sons. I live my life for my family and want to show them that in life if yoU keep your head up you can get anywhere you want.

Wedding DJs stop letting other DJs tell you what you need to use as far as looks go. I'm not saying that you should let your wires be all over the place, gaff tape your cables down, use Velcro ties for your spear stands to keep the cables streamlined. But if you use a facade then use that facade, if you are using a table so be it use that table. Just make your stuff presentable and rock your event no matter what. All I would say is invest in yourself and your look. Don't buy those speakers from Costco or Best Buy that light up those are definitely not good speakers to do a wedding or an event. Do some research on your gear that you want to use and buy. Don't spend thousands of dollars on your first set up unless you can afford it right away.

One thing us DJ's need to stop doing is worrying about what DJ software you are using, it does not matter if you're using serato, virtual DJ, Traktor, DJay Pro. The only thing you need to worry about is rocking the event that you are doing. The clients do not care what you are using as long as you keep in that dance floor packed the whole entire night. The only time a client cares what you are using is if they are a DJ as well that is the only time. Just a little food for thought. I have used multiple DJ softwares out there and I still toss back and forth which one I like to be honest. Just do you, have fun at your event and keep booking those parties.
