I’ve been taking things back to basics recently and trying to find the joy in the simplest things that we can all do on a daily basis. Doing things within my home that doesn’t cost a fortune and ends in something beautiful is truly a wholesome feeling and this lemon drizzle cake is no exception. Recipe to follow soon

L I F E L A T E L Y 🌿

Raise your hand if you’re sick and tired of being sick and tired. The constant negativity from the outside world is deafening. Everyone seems to be struggling, financially, mentally, and physically and it’s becoming exhausting. I am going to try really hard to pull myself into a more mindful mindset and focus more towards inner peace.

Overwhelm and anxiety has been the theme of my life lately so I’m going to keep it very simple with daily wins inspired from my Pinterest board.

• A physical win - most likely walking or a home Pilates YouTube video and cooking wholesome meals.
• A mental win - reading, journaling, flower arranging or listening to music or a podcast.
• A spiritual win - this is not for everyone but I need to quiet my mind so a 5 minute meditation is essential.

Everyone is welcome to follow along on this journey and do your own daily wins and let’s try and improve our wellbeing together.

One good thing about this amount of rain is that I’ve managed to keep my flowers alive for the longest time now.
I am renowned to neglect my outdoor blooms because I always forget to water them but this year I am determined to do better.

Having a clean kitchen and knowing you’re having a takeaway later on is the most satisfying feeling ever. Although I’m sure it’ll be messy in exactly 5 minutes with these kiddies still off school.

I love Mondays so much. Anyone else? I’ve had such a productive day and now I feel set up for the week. Organisation is key at the moment and when one thing goes wrong a whole bunch of things follow. So fingers crossed my week goes smoothly now

Happy International Women’s Day 🤍 a day we should all celebrate, come together and support. Women supporting women, not just for the day but every day.
I have gifted my two best friends a lovely bouquet of flowers each today and asked them to be my girl’s godmother’s. These two ladies are my backbone right now, helping and supporting me through thick and thin while I’m navigating my way through motherhood. They really don’t know how much they mean to me and I couldn’t think of a better way to say thank you for standing by my daughters too.

Here she is… this year’s spring wreath kit. This year’s wreath is pretty big and is full of beautiful spring foliages, twisting Hazel, feathers and quail eggs. It’s a subtle hint towards Easter and nature’s springtime.

My favourite time of year, my favourite wreath to create. I am launching this year’s spring wreath kit tonight at 8pm and I am beyond excited to show you the final wreath. It is filled with beautiful spring foliages with a hint of Easter.

Drooping tulips… do you use any old wives tales to revive your droopy tulips? I find giving them a little snip, refreshing the water making sure it’s warm water and maybe a touch of sugar keeps them stems straight for longer. But if I am completely honest, I love when the odd tulip looks wild and uncontrollably. I like to think they are dancing to the spring sunshine.

One of my favourite spring bulbs are hyacinths. I love that they bloom with an abundance of little flowers year after year. These bulbs were from last year which I stored away over winter.
January is also a good time to sow any seeds, however you will need a little more patience until they start to flower.

Hello… it’s been a minute. I have been absent from instagram for the past week or so and I feel really bad about it. I have been getting into bed and kicking myself that I’ve not got round to catching up with you guys and showing you what we have been up to. I have been working hard behind the scenes getting Christmas orders out. I am hoping to get back into it and bring you some more flower inspirations very soon.

Well I may not have had time to go and buy a real Christmas tree today but it’s probably a blessing in disguise. We have such a busy week with dispatching our wreath kits, an eye test, dentist app and 2 poorly babies. We have even had to raid the cupboards for tea because I’ve not done my weekly shop.
Is anyone else rushed off their feet now it’s December? Next week is even worse for me. I honestly love being able to be involved in all my children’s activities, I just wish I could take a breath and enjoy them.
