Good evening, long time no speak, and i hope yoa are all well. Just thought i'd let all our previous customers and friends know that we've had a tiny bundle of joy join our brood. Mabon Thomas was born on Monday morning. There's been a couple of wee difficulties through the week and he still remains in hospital with his mummy but both are recuperating well.

End of an era, good luck to whoever takes this wee cafe on, you'll need it lol.
The customers that we've had over the years have made this place a joy to work in and we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts (even the annoying ones 😜 jk).
P.s we will be having a stock clearance of some products from our new production kitchen in the near future when we get everything sorted.

Although the cafe is closed, we are still located within Midlothian innovation centre, running our outside catering business providing buffets and platters for all occasions including office/boardroom catering, party's & events. After the success of fundraising for Doddie Aid 2023, I have signed up for the Mighty Stride (21 miles) at this year's Edinburgh Kilt walk. I will be raising funds for Big Hearts Community Trust. Fundraising details will be coming soon.

Good afternoon, we have just been informed that Midlothian Innovation Centre will be closed on Friday and again on Monday for the Easterweekend. We were intending on opening this Friday but unfortunately as there will be no supervised main door access, non key holders cannot get access into the building and therefore cannot get to the cafe.
We can only apologise for the inconvenience that this will cause, and we hope that you all have great weekend.
