It’s pretty wild to think that we packed up our lives and moved to Sayulita over a year ago. So much has transpired since then and we definitely got the adventure that we were seeking. Lots of growth, lots of challenges, lots of new friends, lots of tacos and a ton of new music.

After a surprisingly smooth 4 day pilgrimage back to the SF Bay, it feels extremely satisfying to be back home and getting settled in. There’s a lot more reflecting to be done and plenty more to be said, but we’ll save that for a later post. Most importantly; we’re gathering up the fam and taking over one of our favorite places, @monarchsf for a good ol’ fashioned reunion on the dance floor 💃🏽

The night will be extra special with not 1 but 2 birthdays happening! Our dear friend @kaelirenae will be kicking things off upstairs and celebrating her bday in style before handing over the decks to the coolest/sexiest dj we know, @macarena.wav before the official cousin of GrooveWell @dj_anuknocka finishes things off with a proper bday set in everyone’s favorite lounge. You can find the GrooveWell squad cooking downstairs all night long as we share a ton of new sounds that we’ve been collecting while we’ve been gone. So come on by and have a dance and a hug perhaps…we missed you San Francisco 😘
After an epic season of memorable events at our favorite venues throughout Sayulita, we are closing it out with a fitting grand finale, joining forces with our good homies @grooves.bay for a proper send off before we head back to the San Francisco Bay and @nahual.mexico closes for the low season.

We’ll be pulling out all the stops for this one with a solid lineup featuring Groove’s Bay residents @nanp.musik and @mattzaiz as well as Mexico’s finest @mikemontano_mx (La vie en Rose / Blind Vision), a DJ, Producer and pioneer of the Mexican electronic music scene. GrooveWell will be holding it down with sets from @fusion_gw, @j._.key and a special birthday set from @ledepic to top it off.

Festivities will start at 4pm downstairs with music and drinks as we feature a Mercado de Arte showcasing local artisans as well as a some of our favorite local food vendors. The evening continues with sunset on the rooftop and a full lineup of music that’s going all night long. As always, the high fidelity heartbeat of the night will be supplied by @tractionsound and beautiful flower decor by @solrisecollective. Come boogie with us one more time before we head out and enjoy another memorable night under the stars ✨
A little bit over a month ago we had an absolute blast being invited out to play at San Diego’s legendary @themustachebash festival. The whole experience exceeded our expectations and it was a beautiful homecoming for 4 best friends who all met in San Diego over 20 years ago.

The crowd was amazing and everyone had such great vibes all throughout the day. The layout and overall production was extremely well executed throughout the venue and you could really tell that the organizers cared about all the small details 🤌🏽

A lot of pieces had to fall into place to pull off this season opener at @nahual.mexico and the premier of our new @tractionsound rig, but with a lot of love and effort, everyone involved came together and created our best party yet since we’ve arrived in this magical area 🌴

Endless gratitude to everyone who participated in the creation of this memorable night. This wouldn’t have been possible without our brother @jose_metl getting this sacred space ready after hurricane season and providing the community with such a special location to collect. Every DJ involved kept the vibes at an all time high and crowd brought a beautiful, free and welcoming energy that lasted from the beginning and till the end 🙏🏽

☀️SUNSET CAMPOUT 2023☀️
For years we’d heard the rumors about a next level event in Northern California where the legendary @sunsetsoundsystem crew takes over the entire town of Belden along the Feather River and for three days and turns it into an underground dance music wonderland with world class curation, sound, lighting, decor and a rare level of intention that stands out beyond all other events….
We’ll we can certainly confirm that the rumors are true and although it may have taken us a while to finally attend this staple of west coast dance culture, we made sure to fully embrace and absorb every moment we could of this labor of love 🔊🤗🔊
We’ve never been so honored to be invited to play an event like we were for this one. The amount of respect and love that we have for this crew is huge and knowing all of the difficulties that had to be overcome to make this event happen just adds to our already massive respect that we have for everyone involved.
Everything about this experience was special. We truly felt like we were at home with such a strong since of hospitality and family vibes from everyone we interacted with.
Opening the river stage on Saturday will forever be one of our greatest memories as a collective. This meant so much to us and we wanted to make sure that we matched the river stage vibe while keeping true to our sound that we’ve been cultivating. It made for a truly memorable affair and we can’t express how grateful we are for the opportunity 🙏🏽
Endless thank you to @galensunset for being a real role model in community leadership and also one of our favorite dj’s. Thank you for seeing us at sharing in a memorable B2B campout experience that connected the vibes properly. That morning with Galen-> @therealeddiec was heavenly. Thanks to all the rest of the crew who made us feel at home. We are beyond inspired and our hearts are full ❤️🔥
