They say “it takes a village”, and they ain’t lyin.

At the very core of GrooveWell is the connection of 4 best friends who come from very different walks of life, but instantly united around the love of music. This has lead to all sorts of fun adventures and cool connections over the last 20+ years, but most of all it’s taught us that music is the great unifier.
•
It’s not too surprising that as time has gone on, we’ve found more people who are equally passionate about music and authentic connection. So, here we are a couple weeks away from the culmination of everything that this journey has lead us to and we couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible relationships that have come along the way and the cosmic synchronicities that have lead to being able to bring the vision of GrooveWell Vacation to life with this legendary team ✨

With less than 3 weeks to go before the first ever it’s crazy to think that we’ve been planning and working on this thing for about 10 months straight. Within that period we have experienced the greatest example of “build it and they will come” that we’ve ever experienced in our lives…

From the very beginning of GrooveWell, we’ve always had this dream of one day being able to produce a festival where we could really express the fullness of the vibe and music that we love. Somehow, some way, we’ve managed to come access the most wonderful people throughout this journey and those meetings have turned into incredible friendships that continue to deepen as time goes on. Those friendships combined with epic memories experienced together have ultimately resulted in us being a part of a truly unique and loving community of people who not only support us, but inspire us continuously as we move through this wild journey.

This crazy idea of ours would not stand a chance at becoming a reality if it wasn’t for the time, effort and love that this group of people have put into it. The feeling of intention and care that this team has put into this first year of Vacation is truly special and something that is beyond anything we could have imagined 10 years ago when we first started down this path ♥️

WELCOME TO GROOVEWELL VACATION

A series of positive circumstances and delightful synchronicities have led us to a pivotal moment in the history of GrooveWell thus far...
We’re starting our own festival/campout.
•
July 25th-28th in Hopland CA, 1.5 hours north of San Francisco lies an enchanting getaway into nature. Formerly the “Solar Institute for Living”, this mystical property is home to some of the worlds earliest solar energy, permaculture and sustainable living practices. Highlighted by a gorgeous swimming pond, filtered by a solar pump that moves water across natural filtration systems throughout the property, you will also find that the entire property is designed around the Fibonacci sequence with it’s unique architecture. As you explore this gorgeous environment you’ll find “hobbit homes”, geo domes and trees growing through classic cars amongst other things.

We are honored to transform this space into a sonic wonderland where we will be curating a world class lineup showcasing the groovier side of House, Techno, Disco, Electro, Breaks and beyond while also paying homage to the foundational sounds that have inspired us along the way. We’re committed to creating the highest quality musical experience utilizing high fidelity sound systems on every stage.

We also happen to be really big fans of comfortable chill spaces. So you can expect to find plenty of alluring zones to relax when you need a break from all that dancing. One of our biggest goals with this gathering is to create an atmosphere where you can rave to your hearts delight, but if you decided so; you could also treat this experience as a healthy vacation. Or for the real pros, perhaps both? We are putting a heavy emphasis on the Wellness aspect and providing a vast assortment of amenities that are great for the mind and body such as (but not limited to) saunas, ice baths, IV therapy, fresh smoothie and juice stations, tonic bar, massage, sound baths, yoga and breath work. We’re hoping to have the mind, body and soul dialed in all weekend long.

We’re making our return to where it all began, San Diego, for the 16th iteration of the epic 70’s immersive experience; 🕺🏽

Everyone loves a good theme party and this crew has dialed it in like few others have. We’re stoked to join this lineup and dive into a full day of disco fun under the San Diego sun ☀️

This party is completely sold out but we’re hoping to see some familiar friends while we make this visit to our old stomping grounds. See ya out there :)

The Sayulita high-season is in full swing and we have a nice selection of quality events to choose from featuring some of our favorite international and local DJ’s as well as the best sound system in the area🔊. We’ll also be squeezing in a trip to San Diego for the super fun festival as well as a stop in Baja for some good times with our partners.

🐅🔮TIGERBALM at Nahaul Recap🔮🐅

It’s been about 2 weeks since this event happened but we still can’t wipe the smile off of our faces. We were able to pull off our biggest production yet and brought out one of our favorite producers and humans, for an ethereal night of dancing under the moonlight surrounded by lush jungle.
•
It was a long time coming, reuniting with Tigerbalm (Rose) after having her in SF about 6 years ago. Bringing her out to Sayulita playing at our favorite venue, .mexico was a dream come true and it all happened so organically. We loved every moment of this process and the magic of the night reflected the intention that everyone put into it. Massive thank you to for jumping in last minute and adding the icing to the cake in what was already a beautiful night. Also, big thanks to for getting us started with some warm grooves that set the vibe.
•
As always, the crowd was beautiful, the system sounded better than ever and the dance floor felt exceptionally lovely all night long. Our first big show for 2024 is in the books and we can’t wait for our next gathering at Nahual with one of our biggest influences and favorite DJ’s, on March 9th. We’ll be going bigger and better than ever before for that one and we can’t wait to show you all what we have up our sleeve ;)
