Utter disappointment—Pete’s exact reaction when he realized I’d blocked his face in this photo. Naturally, to make things worse, we decided this would be the perfect pic to announce some spring gigs! Heheheheh 🎤❄️

Between these gigs, we’re keeping busy with lots of things (including a 2.5-week residency in Feb 👀). We’ll keep you in the loop as the year warms up, but for now, each of these shows is hosted by lovely, passionate folks working their bums off to make amazing concert series happen so they’ll be special ones!

Happy New Year to all our Chapel Sessioners and artists we’ve had in the past and the new ones we have in store in 2025. With your help we can keep music live in our community. We would also like to mention the lovely people at Scene Media magazine Scene Media who are so supportive of what we are doing in Netley and for St Edwards Church and Netley Abbey Village Partnership and Hound and Netley Abbey Community Group and Hound Parish Council and Netley Abbey Community who do all they can to help spread the word and we look forward to their help in this brand new coming year of music and friendship for Chapel Sessions Community led Not-4-profit occasional music series 🎶👏👏👏

Last night was special in many ways.

It was our final Chapel Sessions Community led Not-4-profit occasional music series of 2024

Lots of new Chapel Sessioners attended

The The Dinner Set acoustics shone next to the Christmas tree 🎄🎶

🌟Martin Perry and Tony Wright brought along a special Chapel Sessions Christmas present - a Didgeridoo 🇦🇺🦘player Steve, who enchanted the audience with mouths wide open. It was definitely a first for Chapel Sessions in the beautiful St Edwards Church and we hope to welcome him back in the future.

Thank you all for your support this year which has seen some fine music grace our stage. Thank you to all our volunteers for looking after you all and we hope you have a wonderful Christmas however you celebrate it. John and I appreciate each and every artist and audience member and look forward to welcoming you back again. Thank you for helping to keep music alive 🎵🎶👏👏👏👏👏👏

Feeling on top of the world for our Chapel Sessions friend and performer Jenn Bostic who has wowed Royal Albert Hall as a guest of the beautiful Katherine Jenkins last night. Good morning friends. We are so excited to share our list of Chapel Sessions artists booked for 2025 so far. Tickets will go on sale early in the new year and will need to boost numbers next year so please spread the word far and wide to help keep Chapel Sessions going strong. Please put in your diaries and look the artists up on the internet and U- tube and help to give them the welcome they deserve. Last minute sales are worrying to the artists management and they need to know numbers far in advance and so do we Chapel Sessions Community led Not-4-profit occasional music series St Edwards Church Netley, Southampton

We hope to see many more of you at next Saturday’s The Dinner Set Christmas concert as this locally based duo who have played with internationally renowned artists, have prepared some surprises for you and they are also collecting toys for a children’s charity in the spirit of Christmas 🎅🏻 🎄
