Srinanditha is cheerful, spirited, and an incredible badminton player with unbeatable sportsmanship. She can dominate the court with fierce determination, making her an invaluable asset to the IISER TVM contingent in 2 IISM seasons - winning bronze and silver, one of her proudest achievements in her college life. She might be a scary opponent to play against, but outside the court, she has a chirpy and easygoing attitude. She is a reserved person who likes to keep her personal life to herself. Always curious to learn more, she is quick to pick up new skills and has a great eye for observation.

This biology major has been known to be the initiator of all fun activities in her lab and is always full of energy and ready to lend a helping hand whenever needed. Being with her labmates is one of her favourite pastime activities, and when she gets bored with work in the lab, she often starts annoying people around her - very entertaining to watch from the sidelines! While Srinanditha may appear to be ever-ready for anything fun, such as watching brain-rot movies anytime, don’t be fooled - she might just be procrastinating :P

Apart from her enthusiasm for badminton, she is also a great artist who can create beautiful illustrations and has served as a designer for Rawaaz and Proteus. She possesses hidden talents, such as crocheting and being an excellent dancer that she rarely showcases. She has an amazing sense of humour—according to her, and even showing her the word “joke” written on a piece of paper is enough to make her laugh. Srinanditha is also occasionally clumsy - and whether or not she is clumsy around you is a true test of your friendship. She is known to be quite straightforward and blunt when needed, and has a habit of zoning out often during important moments, such as the interbatch volleyball semifinals when she completely missed a ball coming next to her!

Meet Vrindha, fondly called “Vrindhapii”, in her close circle. You might not find this ambivert in a large crowd of people, as she might find it overwhelming, but once you spot her in her niche of close friends, she is phenomenal. A highly motivated individual, she is passionate about Physics and research. A true perfectionist, she dedicates herself wholeheartedly to any task she takes on. Passionate about painting, but relentless drive and determination in academics often take precedence, leaving her paint brushes waiting in the background. She has flaunted her artistic skills through her Rawaaz models over the years as a meticulous and creative designer. One of her fondest memories would definitely be the all-nighter she and the team pulled to get the gym wall done, and we hope it stays there long enough as a canvas to all the artists involved. Besides painting, Vrindha is also an underrated dancer and singer who doesn’t enjoy the limelight and hence decided not to show off her skills too much.

She’s a light sleeper who was unfortunately blessed with a loud roommate, leading her to rely on eye masks and earmuffs for a peaceful night’s sleep. A minimalist to the core, who holds onto her dear belongings (to which she is definitely attached!) until they are worn out. This empathetic and mature person is a perfect choice for deep conversations and logical opinions, giving her the title “mom of the group” or “Kudumba Kuthuvilakku”. Contrary to her serene nature, she is an avid horror movie fan, with Cruella topping her list. Her idea of a perfect date with friends would be to watch horror movies, which her friends sleep through often, but the dedicated person she is watches it till the very end, all alone. The spookiness from the countless horror movies she has watched makes her a Halloween makeup master.

We wish this strong-willed individual all the success, happiness and her dream PhD in the US, after which she can definitely color her hair!

Probably one of the most misunderstood faces of B’20, don’t let his demeanor fool you! He may appear calm, silent, and mature—but this post won’t focus on any of those(lies?). Not when his friends won’t forgive him for singing when they begged him to stop, his inability to sit still, or his notorious competitiveness in PES and card games. The post-game taunts from “Vedal”? They’re still recovering.

An expert at blowing a̶p̶p̶l̶e̶j̶u̶i̶c̶e̶ raspberries and unmatched in stamina on the cricket ground, Eswar’s spirit animal is Sheldon—a genius with a fascination for String Theory and an uncanny ability to conjure sickness out of thin air. As legend has it, he has a history of imagining fevers and snake bites. From waking up at 4 AM to hitting the bed at 4 AM, IISER altered his schedule, but his hardcore vegetarianism remains untouched despite his pure non-veg circle. A testament, perhaps, to his unwavering determination. He once cried over losing a mark on a test he topped—but who’s bringing that up? He insists he has changed, but the hype around theoretical physics and a theoretician who is a 10/10 (GPA-wise ofc)? Still real.
An avid reader who has enthralled his roommate with bookish tales, he complains he hasn’t read much lately but finishing Dostoevsky isn’t exactly light reading. A seasoned Kathakali artist, his prowess in classical arts is unquestionable. Need movie recommendations? He’s your guy—just ask for a warning first. With a personality as towering as his 6’1” frame (no round-offs!), and a very open DM (for girls who want to rant—preferably in Hindi—note down his number; Eswar is no stranger to anyone.

Roasts aside, he’s never turned down anyone who needed help, is an amazing friend and his advice to juniors won’t go unnoticed. He never seems to stress over exams or assignments, leaving us all wondering—how?? Active in clubs, fests, securing international Internships, a revered CR position and socialization (but how much is too much?), he has left his mark.

We wish you the very best for your future—may you get your dream PhD position, chase your goals, and spread positivity wherever you go. We will miss you more than you know, Eswar!

Shwetha Santhosh is the biggest yapper, with conversations that move at the rate of 10 topics per second, punctuated by her characteristic phrases - “nosy nancy”, “suck it up buttercup”, “tbh”, “same diff”, at most times, nobody will know the conclusion of any topic. Shwetha is also extremely social (although she claims she hates everyone). If you are close to her heart, even if you stand an extremely high chance of being ghosted, you can find peace in knowing that Shwetha will one hundred percent be there for you if “sh*t goes down”. The sun and her are arch enemies, so much that she’d rather always wear a cardigan in the heat rather than stand the risk of getting tanned.

Shwetha is extremely on point with her finances - so many events at IISER would have been in crisis without her managing the finances. She also is the accountant of her friend group and loves it when people owe her money. She loves organizing and believes you invite the witches in if you don’t align your shoes and has a weird obsession with taking the plastic off of packages. She is the best gift giver, an absolutely wonderful friend, who you can count to be a pillar of support, who will go to battle for you and her quick wit and outlandish humour will make you laugh till you cry. Word has it that Shwetha is always in a constant love-hate relationship with her curls. She was awarded the DAAD-WISE scholarship, has an impressive work ethic, and was an integral member of establishing the Ferreiro lab. We wish Shwetha all the very best for her future endeavours 💗

Soft, dreamy, and heartfelt—whispers of the sea, the glow of twilight, the weight of love woven into the air. When we thought of a theme, these were the words that lingered. But farewells, they say, are heavy; so this is not an end, but a transition, like a wedding...A gentle tide carrying us from one shore to another, like we are all unwinding by the beach, one last time.
It is not a goodbye but a celebration—of love that was shared, memories that were made, and the quiet promise that no distance can truly part us.
And so, we gather by the waves, where beginnings and endings blur into something timeless. Where laughter is carried by the breeze, where footprints may fade, but the moments remain.
We promise you a send-off wrapped in smiles, nostalgia, and the kind of connection that lingers- soft, dreamy, and heartfelt, just like a sea, just like this moment.
