RiceFest

RiceFest RiceFest is a celebration of the arts held at the CCLC in honor of Wayne and Lorraine Rice, two dedi (You can learn more about American Craft Week here.)

RiceFest is named after Wayne and Lorraine Rice, who were tireless volunteers at the CCLC for many years. In honor of their love of music and their strong belief that everyone should have access to the opportunities afforded by the CCLC, RiceFest was created as an event filled with music, arts, artisans, food, and celebration. RiceFest coincides with the nationwide American Craft Week, which celeb

rates and promotes the work of artisans and craftspeople across the country. This celebration of the creative economy fits with the work of the CCLC and the spirit of RiceFest. RiceFest will be held on Saturday, October 10. this year. The event will feature artisan demonstrations, food by the Lubec Masons, music all afternoon, children's games and activities, a Whoopie Pie baking contest, a cake walk, a Spaghetti Supper provided by the Rice family, and much more.
