I'm going to be real and open with you right now. Every morning, I open up my Instagram and scroll through all the incredible small businesses I follow. I love seeing what they are up to, their wins, and just seeing small businesses doing their thing. Just this week alone, three businesses announced they are closing their doors, including one local business in Lincoln. THREE! This is incredibly heartbreaking, and I can only imagine all the feelings they are going through having to make these insanely difficult decisions. All the heart, sweat, tears, triumps, and dreams that went into opening these businesses...to close because there just isn't enough business to stay open. And to be honest, we have even had the beginning stages of these conversations, because we simply can not survive with the way things are going. Don't worry, we aren't closing the doors! Just brainstorming ideas to help us out.

I know it's so much easier shopping at big box stores, going to Target , At Home, Amazon,or HomeGoods for decor, gifts, jewelry, apparel, etc. And most think it's cheaper. But honestly, their prices are pretty dang comparable to us small businesses. The difference? When you purchase from a small business, you are not only treating yourself to some fun new things, but your transaction helps us keep our doors open and dreams alive....so we don't have to make the dreadful decisions like having to close up shop. We do happy dances when we make a sale. When we get new customers. When we see our regulars. When we reach our daily sales goals. And most importantly, we do a happy dance, because we get to open the doors for you one more day! To them, you're just a number. Our economy has gone to s #!t the past couple years, and we need our community more than ever to help keep the doors open. So when you're shopping for yourself, a friend, a gift, think about all the small businesses that could help you fill that need. And I promise you, we are forever grateful for all the support ❤️ Keep liking, commenting, and sharing. That is just as important! Thank You from the bottom of my heart to everyone who comes in and supports our small business. Let's keep these happy dances going.

‘Til death, do us art 🖼️🏰
Held on Castle grounds, the wedding ceremony was set against a picturesque backdrop that complimented the vintage vibes. Designed into the middle of an existing museum, the reception was essentially an exhibit all on its own. Guests were invited to experience an exclusive installation with a limited display window. For one night only, attendees were immersed in the couple’s unique love story. As they traveled back in time at the train station and danced the night away in the Great Hall their own mark on history was made.

A magical event that was filled with nods to the couple’s one of a kind romance. Touches of their travels together were woven into the decor. Custom luggage tags told guests where to be seated and paired perfectly with a globe accent piece. They used a mug with Paris decals to hold their guest book pens as a hint to one of the cities they’d later visit on their honeymoon. Creating their very own

A historic spot can be the ultimate cheat code for leveling up your wedding day. Surrounded by art deco architecture, pointedly themed decor gave an obvious nod to the roaring 20’s. Gold feathers, black candles, geometric placemats, and strings of pearls playfully intertwined with their backdrop to create a balanced mix of modern yet vintage style. Heading into 2024 we can’t help reminiscing on all of the wonderful weddings we were lucky enough to share a small part in. It’s always a bittersweet feeling as the calendar changes over, but as we look ahead to the New Year we are overjoyed for what’s in store.
