Toughbreak & Friends [This sat]

After 5 incredible years of spinning at Australia’s top clubs and events and producing some of Melbourne’s favourite House anthems, Tough Break is ready to bring his own electrifying showcase to the Circus rooftop on November 23rd!

It all started 5 years ago at BTV when Tough Break fell in love with dance music. From there, he dove into production and began DJing at home, and his first club set had him hooked. Over the past four years, he’s been releasing music and playing shows across Melbourne, interstate, and internationally—a journey that’s been a dream come true. Connecting with crowds, building friendships, and supporting the community have meant everything to him.

“Putting on this show makes me reflect on everyone who’s supported me along the way. I’m so grateful for those connections as really they’re the foundation of this event. I’m beyond excited to celebrate with you all and make it a day to remember!”

Tough Break is a multi-talented artist delivering dirty Tech House as a DJ, producer, and vocalist. Hailing from Melbourne (AUS), this heavy hitter has copped worldwide support from industry greats such as Dom Dolla, Chris Lake, MK, Riva Starr, Kyle Watson and more! Over the years of live sets Tough Break has earnt a DJ residency in Melbourne, played interstate sets and even gone on tour in Europe with BARRAKUD Festival.

His releases on renowned Australian labels Medium Rare Recordings and Onelove Music have been met with critical acclaim, with “I Go Out” being played at worldwide festivals and having viral moments on Tiktok, not to mention his previous release Don't / Trip taking the #6 spot in the Tech House charts on Beatport.
