Northern Monkey grew up listening to Motown and 70's disco beats, visiting Ibiza in 1988 and experiencing the early days of the UK House explosion at the Hacienda in Manchester influence Northern Monkey's musical taste. A lover of Funk, Classic House and Nu-Disco he will get your feet moving. A lover of Jazz Funk, Soulful House and i

nfectious drum beats. He brings a new dimension to the dancefloor. Ricardo Simeoni is a sound engineer and DJ, he has breathed music since he bought his first record, Chic's Le Freak. From his early years of residencies at The Pig and The Brain clubs, he has had a lifelong love of music, playing alongside DJ's as diverse as Judge Jules and Boy George. As a sound engineer he's worked with The Brand New Heavies, Imagination & Annie Lennox and has also worked at iconic record shops Mr Bongo and Soul Brother Records. He still plays out at local club nights and parties.
