JUMP OR SLIDE SUNDAYS
weekends are, of course, our favorite. but sundays can seem scary or overwhelming if you look at the entire day as a whole. taking it one step at a time can really work to make the day less intimidating.
Sundays are the days we prep for the new week, and whatever your week looks like, these same rules can apply.
Here are some guidelines to follow to destress your sundays:
- sleep in (we know this sounds crazy because it could seem like you are wasting valuable time, but trust me, you'll wish you had, come the week day mornings.)
- eat a good breakfast (or lunch depending on what time you woke up😜)
- move your body (this looks different for everyone. it could be going for a walk, getting a workout in, yoga, etc. Movement looks different on all bodies.) we prefer to jump ;)
- decide what meals you will eat in the coming week (keep it simple)
- make a grocery list (i organize mine by the set up of my grocery store...)
- buy something special for you (even if this is a candy bar, or a pair of earrings. Sunday mini-splurge)
- relax!
