Dla mnie takim miejscem stał się właśnie Schron - nie tylko jako przestrzeń, ale przede wszystkim mega zaangażowana i otwarta społeczność. It's quite funny how things tend to happen out of pure coincidence. I started my dj adventure back in 2022 when I attended the last batch of DJ workshops run by maestro MIFI77 at FOMO klub.

After playing around with music production during pandemic (I actually "released" a few EPs for fun on SC hehe), I decided to try this dj thing everybody around me was talking about, and it just went from there.

Besides playing music, I needed a place to just DO things, have an impact, and create — invest my time and skills to make the scene a bit better. So Projekt New Hope happened, where together with a group of super talented and passionate people (Hubert, Maciek, Adam, Kuba, Ania) we started to just DO things — events, workshops, collaborations, gatherings, and much more stuff nobody did before. That's actually 2years of my after-work life, spent with, and for, nice people, making nice things.

I left the Projekt New Hope management board at the end of July — haven't announced that because it’s not about me talking, it’s about common goals which others will now reach, and I’m going to be there cheering, smiling, and being happy that I had an opportunity to be a part of it.

So this very announcement, the Schron residency, is a sum of all those little coincidences, connections, talks, tries, fails, and repeats.

SOME REALLY NICEST THINGS have happened since I started this little music adventure 2 years ago. Being a music and club culture consumer since I can remember, I always longed for a way to be more blended into it, to be closer — to CREATE, not just experience.

I’ve met so many like-minded, great and talented people along the way, with that itch — that constant need to CREATE, to make beautiful things and moments last. These are the people, communities, and places who build and develop the scene, bringing the greatest value to this crazy wild industry, keeping it going, open, and healthy.

One of those unique communities is Schron —where I’ve spent so many hours dancing, talking and finally - playing.

Today I’m being accepted as one of the community members — as a resident DJ. It’s quite unreal and exciting and so so many other wordz, but above all - it’s an honour, the opportunity to CREATE.
