Classical Series - May 4

Author Ian Doescher has adapted the Star Wars series into Shakespearean plays, and in our segment today, Jaden Lee Sullivan reads us one of the most chilling monologues ever written.
Classical Series - April 22
Today is the 52nd celebration of Earth Day. William Wordsworth believed that we can learn more of humanity and of moral evil and good from Nature than from all the philosophies. Every day we have the opportunity to protect the environment, biodiversity, ecosystems, and try and live more sustainably. There is no Planet B. In our segment today, Laurel Audrey reads us "Daffodils" by Wordsworth.

Classical Series - February 14
The second of our classical series.
The story goes - Emperor Claudius II of Rome banned marriage - believing strong soldiers should be unmarried. St. Valentine performed the marriages anyway in secret until he was caught and killed on February 14 for defying the emperor. Historically, pagan festivals have existed for centuries before Valentine was alive. Today, Valentine's Day is celebrated in different ways around the world. After all, what is the "right" way to approach a day symbolizing love? Love itself is a loaded word. In our segment today, Caleb Gordon reads us Sonnet 87.
