I experimented with this and it worked. For my last event, I scheduled posts across all my social media every 2 hours on the last day of registrations. It felt awful, I felt like I was that cooking show ad that just won't go away! But I figured they've done the research, and they were right. I got registrations on that day, registrations that may not have come, had I not kept pushing hard.
This reminds me of one of the outcomes from the recent research discussed at the last event. Promoters and event creators think the market is flooded with festivals and events - only 7 % of punters do.
