When I initially officiated for friends it was such an honor and a lot of fun…I also had no clue what I was doing. Fast forward to today when Ive officiated hundreds and would say I’m pretty good 😉 however that proved to be a double edged sword because this beautiful bride is my cousin (the groom is cute too, hey ) and when I tell you all composure went out the damn window…y’all I boo hooed through every moment of their ceremony. Sharing their love story in front a family who’s history runs through me was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. I am beyond grateful to not only have officiated their ceremony but also to get to watch them grow through each stage of their relationship. Congratulations again and again T & R 🫶🏾

In my first full year of business I had a goal of receiving awards from and I worked by butt off blindly jumping into marketing and networking not having any clue if I was running a business correctly...honestly that space of learning never ends...but I was determined to make this business venture of mine work. I was fortunate to win the award for Best of Weddings and Couples Choice after my first year of business and each year thereafter as well. For that these awards will forever be special to me.
