And another thing!! As we head into the final stretch of the busy wedding season here in the PNW I am reminded, yet again, how many du*****es still walk among us (in many ways but I’m focusing on one at the moment). As I close out my 5th season as a pro wedding officiant I am still being asked if the ceremonies I perform are legal because I’m a woman. YES! Yes they are. All 600+ ceremonies I’ve officiated result in couples being legally married. A mid July wedding for B & K with a shady spot for the ceremony… perfection 🤌🏾. These two were one of the nicest couples I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with and I’ll always be grateful to them. Cheers to a long, happy, and healthy marriage.

This is what it looks like when two people truly love and support each other at their core. To stand side by side through both the joys and the challenges of life, and then create a wedding that reflects every part of who they are.

Cat and Noa’s ceremony was a reminder that love should be authentic and unapologetically true. For me, this will always stand as one of the most inspiring moments I’ve had the privilege to be part of.

I honestly haven’t even wrapped my head around this yet… but somehow I’ve been named Best Officiant by for the third year in a row. 🥹

Wedding season is still running full speed, but I had to stop for a second to say how much I appreciate this. To every couple who’s let me be part of your story—thank you, thank you, thank you. You’re the reason I get to do what I love. And to my vendor fam—we really are like coworkers out here, leaning on each other to make sure our couples walk away happy. Couldn’t do it without you.

So here’s to the love, the laughter, and all of us showing up for our people. Shoutout to the whole crew that makes these days possible.
