Love letter to my husband

Dear Jon, 10 1/2 years ago I couldn’t have imagined that we would be celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary. The whirlwind of our lives at that time was chaotic to say the least. A mix of standard blue collar survival, 2 kids & a dog with a house in a cul-de-sac and the emotional uprooting of your dad’s medical diagnosis. In an instant everything changed but also somehow became so clear. Life is short. Things will never be perfect but we have the ability to make choices and we chose each other. I vow to continue putting in the work that supports our family. I vow to appreciate each new space that we enter because we can always learn to do better by one another. And I vow to treat you as my equal partner and stand with you in whatever capacity you need me. You are always on my mind and forever in my heart. I love you.

When I initially officiated for friends it was such an honor and a lot of fun…I also had no clue what I was doing. Fast forward to today when Ive officiated hundreds and would say I’m pretty good 😉 however that proved to be a double edged sword because this beautiful bride is my cousin (the groom is cute too, hey ) and when I tell you all composure went out the damn window…y’all I boo hooed through every moment of their ceremony. Sharing their love story in front a family who’s history runs through me was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. I am beyond grateful to not only have officiated their ceremony but also to get to watch them grow through each stage of their relationship. Congratulations again and again T & R 🫶🏾

This entire wedding was a VIBE! even designed her own wedding dress 🤩 Aside from the visuals, the love between M & N and their loved ones was felt so deeply. I wish them a lifetime of happiness.

I cannot thank Hannah with enough for capturing every detail of this day including the moments when it was quite obvious that we are not models. Instead we are two people who have loved each other since we were 15, built a life together from the ground up, and do our best to raise a couple kids in this crazy ass world.
