Who’s Behind the Episodes?

We are going to begin introducing the amazing teams that have been collaborating including the San Ysidro artists and community members alongside UCSD’s Chicanx Ensemble artists! Each of them are designated an episode from “Pia’s Wonderous Adventures in Tlaxlandia” and have been crafting a cardboard box uniquely fitting for the scenarios in the play. Everyone has been working weekly to complete their box.

For today, Team 7 is composed of: Annia Alejandre, Brenda Campos, Suzie Hernandez, Alex Savage, and Brenton Warren!

Exactly 3 weeks from now, Pia is coming to San Ysidro, CA! Everyone’s excited to share this amazing story in which our lovable Pia alongside with the help of some friends, experience a few obstacles navigating through Tlaxlandia. Stay tuned for further updates on the rest of the details leading up to the creation of this show and we look forward to seeing you all on December 3rd!
