I'm so happy with the progress of my sunflower garden (only half of it pictured). I planted the sunflowers in sections about a week apart. It's so cool to see each week of growth in one picture! 🌻🌻🌻

What a beautiful sound- finally some rain! 🌧 Not much more than a sprinkle, but we'll take it! It's crazy to think that this is the first rain that these baby plants have felt since I started planting in early May! 🌱

🌼: Amaranth! Three varieties this year. They had a rough go of it during the transition outside, but some of them are still going strong and I have hope that I'll be able to add some to my bouquets this summer!

Irrigation ✅️

With all sun and NO rain in the 10-day forecast, getting the new irrigation ️system installed became a priority over the weekend! Thanks to my hubby for the help!

🌼: Cosmos! I can't wait to see these big, delicate blooms! We'll have 4 varieties this year!

Mother Nature was keeping me on my toes this week 🥶 but she finally decided to allow for the baby plants to be put in the ground! 🌱

🌼: Zinnias! I'm planting 7 varieties of these beautiful, bold flowers this season!

Fun Fact Friday! 🌿
Did you know that the wild violets you'll likely find growing in your yard are edible?! You can use them for garnish, tea, jelly, simple syrup, etc to add a sweet floral flavor! I'll be making a couple batches of violet jelly this weekend! 💜
