Grateful for family, friends, flowers, and this supportive community! Going to share something personal here hoping this brings comfort to some of you out there.

Thanksgiving feels a bit different for us this year. This August we lost our little boy at 21 weeks pregnant. Words can’t explain how much we miss him today and everyday.

Today my heart goes out to those who have lost someone special in their life. While the holidays are supposed to be a time of joy, they are also a reminder of those we wish were still here. Pass out lots of hugs and love today. ♥️

Some dahlias varieties we’ve loved this season! 🌸

Did you know that dahlias are typically grown from tubers (aka bulbs)? You can grow from seed, but it will be an entirely different variety. Growing from tubers guarantees an exact copy of the dahlia variety that you want.

In the spring we plant our dahlia tubers and in the fall we dig them back up. Those single tubers that were planted in the spring multiply through out the summer. When we dig our tubers in the fall, we are left with a large clump of multiple tubers. We then divide each clump and are able to multiply our stock for the next season.

This also allows us to share our dahlia tubers with you all! We will have our tuber sale in the late winter/early spring. You can visit our website and preview some of the varieties we hope to have in our sale. Link in bio. 🌸

Some favorite snapshots from August. Crazy to think that garden season is wrapping up soon. Thankful for all of you who follow along and support our flower farm. 🤍

We grew some hops around the large gate of our garden this year (2nd photo). They went crazy and produced a lot of crop! Our husbands are hoping to put them to use.

And had to include a few snaps of Junie helping (sleeping) in the garden. I love how much she loves playing and lounging in the garden. 🐶

Some of tomorrow’s bouquets that will be stocked on the flower cart at ! Flowers will be dropped by 7am tomorrow (Saturday). We will have small & large jars available, as well as a few bundles of individual varieities.

Our new little flower cart will be stocked with bouquets outside of Hidden River Roasters tomorrow morning until sold out. Stop by for a coffee and flowers and check out the sidewalk sales happening downtown Camas! 💐☕️🛍️

Introducing our summer bouquet subscriptions! If you love weekly fresh blooms or you like gifting flowers to family/friends, a bouquet subscription is for you! 💐

We are offering a weekly summer subscription and an every other week subscription. Subscription will run from July-September. We will also be offering a dahlia bundle subscription.

Pickup will be on a weekday in downtown Camas. You’ll head to the pickup location and your flowers will be waiting for you with your name attached to your bouquet.

Subscription members get our best cut blooms and a different bouquet each week depending on what is thriving in the garden at that time.

We are growing a lot of unique and beautiful flowers that we are excited to share with you. Thank you for following along and supporting our little flower farm.✨🐝

Super grateful for all of our garden helpers this weekend! Rows ripped out, lots of compost spread, 1/3 of dahlias dug… what a weekend!

Stay tuned for some behind the scenes work of our digging, dividing, and storing of our dahlia tubers. It’s quite a process to grow these amazing flowers. 🙃

Bittersweet seeing the seasons change and the flowers go. Excited to begin planning our 2023 growing season. 🤍

A bridal bouquet for some sweet locals in Camas. Totally in love with all these fall colors. Typically dark colors and sunflowers aren’t my favorite to work with, but after this bouquet, I may have changed my mind🌻🍁🌿✨

Hello flower friends! 🌸 We’ve been on here all summer, but haven’t officially introduced ourselves. My name is Caitlyn and this is my mother-in-law, Vada. We are the faces behind Junebug Flower Farm!

This is our first season selling flowers and it has been the most exciting experience. So fun to watch the tiny seeds that you sow, grow into beautiful flowers and make their way into your hands.

Growing flowers is a dream, but it is also hard work. Lots of early mornings and late nights. Many behind the scenes chores that’s aren’t very glamorous. Maybe we will share more about farm chores another day. 🙃

We have loved meeting many of you and are so grateful for you supporting us on this adventure. 🤍

In love with these limelight hydrangeas. Some of these blooms are bigger than my head! We will be selling bundles of these limelight hydrangeas over the next couple of weeks. Doing a drop off to Camas Produce this morning! 🌱🌸✨

Some of today’s dahlia harvest. I love the baby pink freckle on Cornel Bronze in the second photo. 🌸 Everyday I have a new favorite, but today I’m loving the salmon/coral colored dahlias. What’s your favorite flower color or color combo?
