Our intention is to throw a fun block party and support our local businesses.

On a separate day, at a separate location, we are helping put on a separate event with our friends MidWest Friends Fest Creep It Real
and Esoteric Brewing Company

You will see these flyers around soon out in the world (or maybe you already have!) and lots more information will show up on here and our site!

So make extra sure that you have 7-11pm on October 10th set aside on your day planners so that you can experience something that will surely be exquisite and dignified. Will you be the Best Dressed!?

Hello! While we work on planning, we've also been painstakingly finding all of our old details and photos and setting up recaps and galleries on our new site theme! That also means we finally put up all the submitted photos from you amazing folks, and we will still take more!

The new site is now live and ready for you to find all of our info as we announce it, along with all the info from past years!

Exciting note: The Cryptids have invited Hodag as their special guest this year!

In other words, our costume team has big ambitions and vaguely imagined plans in the works.

We are too excited about to to keep it a secret surprise. Stay tuned for more!

We are still working on a few different options right now for space for new vendors, so please bear with us and stay tuned and the usual stuff! Once we know a little bit more we'll be replying to the folks who have reached out and updating everyone here and on our website.

All of our existing/previous vendors have been emailed with some initial info, but if you haven't heard from us please reach out! And all of you have expressed interest -- we have you on a list and will see what we can do.

Cryptid season is on its way. October 24th, 2026.

In a little over 4 months the magic of the one and only Covington Cryptid Block Party comes together again for our 5th year! You will see these flyers around soon out in the world (or maybe you already have!) and lots more information coming on here.

And then of course there will be the Cryptid Ball too!

Existing vendors, you'll get an email from us soon, we promise. We have a lot in store for everyone and we can't wait to share it. The cryptids are on their way!!

Hey everyone, our friends are having a shindig called the Midwest Friends Fest and you should go. It's the best fest to friend it up at. Listen to so many amazing bands, enjoy the beer and beautiful Southgate House Revival, rock out to music from near and far, and have the best weekend ever.

And of course, stay tuned for updates on the Covington Cryptid Block Party and The Cryptid Ball, both this October.

Not to overwhelm you all with EXCITEMENT too much, but this year we will be joining our friends Creep It Real and MidWest Friends Fest in order to bring a brand new event: The Cryptid Ball at the very lovely Esoteric Brewing Company in Cincinnati. The cryptids assure us that it's safe to cross the river.
