🔊 Women in Soundsystem 🔊

Not only did we get the opportunity to meet Jamz Supernova backstage at Beatherder this year…she then invited us to do a section for her Women in Soundsystem special on BBC Radio 6 Music 😱🤯

We feel so blessed to be included in a show alongside artists and sounds like Linett Kamala , Black Obsidian Soundsystem and Sisters In Dub who are making big waves in the scene!

Also massive big up to Silas and team for putting together a great show - it was so well curated from start to finish and, although we cringe at the sound of our own voices (because when recording for some reason we forget how to speak like normal humans 😅) and hindsight showed us so many more things we could have said, we’re proud of what we put out and hope that it came across well 😌

Respect to all the other sistrins/beings repping Soundsystem culture! We see you and look forward to witnessing our continued elevation through this male-dominated scene 💪🏾✨

Nuff love to Irie Vibes Sound System for having us last weekend and hosting a great night - it was truly a vibe! From the skanking crew holding down the dance floor, to the head boppers preeing at the side, big up to everyone who came out and supported us.

This weekend, we’re excited to be back with the Reaction Sound System crew on the Boardwalk Stage at Eden Festival where we’ll be playing on Sunday from 22:30-23:30. Everyone get your Sun dance on and let’s manifest dry days with minimal showers 🌞

🏕️ 🎶 Festival seasoning incoming 🎵🏕️

This year we’ll be kicking off our festival season in Scotland at the Eden Festival from 13th June with Reaction Sound System alongside many incredible artists on the Boardwalk Stage 🦁 🔊

Then, instead of serving food with our wormies, we’ll now be playing at The Beat-Herder Festival which starts on the 18th of July! We’ve attended this festival many times and are very excited to be playing a set there this year.

The following week we’ll be at Vegan Camp Out from 26th July with Slipshod Faire alongside talented DJs and circus performers bringing good vibes and dutty bass lines. The festival will be held in honour of the late great Benjamin Zephaniah who was meant to be playing with his band this year 🕊️

Northern Green Gathering is back on 15th August and we’re so grateful to be a part of it again. We’ll be playing on the Reaction Bike-Power stage with a beautiful collection of humans, commonly known as the Reaction Crew ♻️💚

Also look out for us at Kelburn Garden Party in July serving wholesome junk food with our good friends Earthworm Kitchen 🪱 🍔 🌱

Lastly, check out our new stickers designed by yours truly and beautifully printed by Tacky & Upsetting 🎨 Big thanks to Jay for the lovely stickers and also for scaring the life out of us when we opened the box! 😅🕷️
