When you are trying to make the most of a not-so-hot sun to take photos of your xmas range and forget the ground is still wet from overnight dew 🤦🏽‍♀️.

✨️ Yessss!! December 2nd. Xmas is only 23 days away (22 in ours and some european and latinamerican households). And my kids have 10 days left before end of term. Yes. 10 days. 😱 😬

You may have noticed I have been very quiet for a little while but thank you for still following my lil business.
Just going to get a little personal for a minute...🙏
Last few months lots changed in our family and i became my 95 year old abuelo's full time carer. He was living home with us which was such an amazing blessing and it was fantastic for my kids to have their great-grandfather so close and grow up learning to have care and respect for their elders.
Over a short while his health deteriorated.
He eventually felt we would be ok without him and on Monday 10th October, we sent him off to his resting place complete with mariachis and tequila shots. ❤️
Growing up he taught me sooo much, including how to drive and I must brag, I can parallel park like a boss thanks to him. Now having had the chance to take care of him like he did us growing up, is something I will treasure always.
I have vowed to always keep him at the forefront of what we do and remember him always in his joyful times. 🌈
Thank you all for your support, patience and trust 💞
😔 Apologies to those who's events I had to turn down in recent weeks as his needs would increase as I felt I wouldn't be able to give my amazing supporters the best of me they deserved. Thank you for your understanding 💜

INGREDIENT CHANGES

The conflict in Europe and the pandemic are causing disruptions to food manufacturing with some manufacturers reporting it is difficult to get particular ingredients from across the globe. Food manufacturers are having to substitute ingredients if they cannot get a regular ingredient for a product. The products must be labelled according to Australian food law with the correct ingredient list.

People with food allergy and their carers, need to read ingredient labels every time – even if the product has been purchased many times before. An increasing number of foods have changed ingredient information. As an example, several people have let us know that Coles and Woolworths are currently using yellow pea flour instead of soy flour in some of their bakery products.

A&AA recommends the three-step check. Once at the supermarket, secondly when you unpack at home and thirdly before you use/eat the product.

These ingredient changes will extend to foods purchased at cafes and restaurants so even if you have eaten a particular food item many times before at a café or restaurant you need to declare your allergy when ordering, every single time.

Cheeseburgers and Hot Dogs
Adult cheeseburgers are homemad patties well seasoned, melted cheese slice, pickles, tomato sauce and mustard. Good ol' classic
Kids cheeseburgers are homemade burger patties (with veggie goodness but don't tell the kids🤫), cheese slice and tomato sauce. Simple, delicious.
Why don't we melt the cheese? Well because we know kids change their food preferences 5 times a day and they can remove the cheese if they don't like it that particular day. No tears!
Our hot dogs are pan fried to bring out the extra flavour then topped with tomato sauce. Another simple but delicious party food kids enjoy.
