Join us for our 2023 D-DAY COMMEMORATION EVENT on Friday, June 2, from 8 PM to 11 PM. Featuring a 1940s Swing Dance with the 126th Army Band. Break out your dancing shoes and 1940s clothes!

On Saturday, June 3, starting at 10 AM, we will see a flyover of World War II aircraft featuring the Hooligans. The 82nd AirBorne will have a large display tent featuring World War II artifacts. The parking lot will have many historic military vehicles for the public to see and experience.

The Northside Lions "All you can eat breakfast" will arrive at 8:00 AM on Saturday. Doggers Doggies, and Lee's Chicken will also have their food trailers there for you to enjoy these great dishes!.

More importantly, the USS LST 393 Veterans Museum will be the center of attraction. Remember, it landed on the Normandy beaches during the D-Day operation, ferrying its cargo of troops, tanks, and munitions.

So come out and honor our veterans!

Together we raised over $1400 in cash. 4ByFours llc, in addition to putting on a great display, donated another lump sum. The counts for online donations(direct to LST) won't be in for some time, but estimates are at least another few hundred dollars. I'd venture to say overall we were closing in on $3000!
We put this event together with money out of our own pockets, looking to raise anything to help the LST. You showed us it was well worth the investment. Companies and individuals donated nearly $3000 in winnables, we came darn close to meeting that.

Jim, the LST director had nothing but kind words about how there was minimal cleanup, how everyone seemed respectful and he is "onboard" having us all back, but bigger and better. Another comment we received were "What a bunch of nice folks in that group"(referring to all of you)

Thank you to everyone who made time, it was great to see and meet you and we look forward to the next thing!

Pack the Lot at Thunderbird is this weekend! Special pricing for general admission will also be announced. (I’ll update this post when it’s released) on top of reduced pricing for everyone, each Jeep’s driver will receive 1 coupon per jeep for one person to get in for just $5.

There will be a couple rounds of Jeeps parades for crowd entertainment, some Jeeps may be needed to drive around track to keep the track packed down between races and Lakeshore Chrylster will be bringing in a jeep for display as well. Open to all jeep models, no club affiliation required but feel free to display your club pride! Bring snacks and a cooler of beverages, tailgating is allowed, no glass containers!
