Join us for our 2023 D-DAY COMMEMORATION EVENT on Friday, June 2, from 8 PM to 11 PM. Featuring a 1940s Swing Dance with the 126th Army Band. Break out your dancing shoes and 1940s clothes!
On Saturday, June 3, starting at 10 AM, we will see a flyover of World War II aircraft featuring the Hooligans. The 82nd AirBorne will have a large display tent featuring World War II artifacts. The parking lot will have many historic military vehicles for the public to see and experience.
The Northside Lions "All you can eat breakfast" will arrive at 8:00 AM on Saturday. Doggers Doggies, and Lee's Chicken will also have their food trailers there for you to enjoy these great dishes!.
More importantly, the USS LST 393 Veterans Museum will be the center of attraction. Remember, it landed on the Normandy beaches during the D-Day operation, ferrying its cargo of troops, tanks, and munitions.
So come out and honor our veterans!
