And just like that, the doors are closed for 2024! ✨This year has been one of the best of my life — exhilarating, chaotic at times, but so full of LOVE. We’ve learned more than we could have imagined and have been blessed more times than I can count. Thank you to my family, friends, and the incredible customers-turned-friends who made this year so special — I owe it all to you 💙

Hey friends! 🎅 just a quick reminder on our hours this week:

• Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 4-7pm
• Saturday: 9am-12pm

After Saturday, we’ll be closing down to rest, recharge & spend quality time with family and friends. We’ll reopen on Wednesday, January 8th ready to start the New Year!

There’s still time to swing by before our break! The shop is filled with lots of Christmas goodies, gifts, and stocking stuffers. We also have a few poinsettias and wreaths left to help put that final touch on your holiday decorating 🎄🌺

🎄 December is here, and it’s packed with holiday cheer! (See what I did there? 🙃)

✨ First up: Winter Porch Pot Class
You asked, and I couldn’t say no—our first Winter Porch Pot class is here thanks to popular demand! Join me on Monday, December 16th, from 6-8 PM, for a cozy evening of treats, festive drinks, and step-by-step instructions on how to create your very own porch pot that will stay fresh all winter long. Spots are limited, so grab yours at the link in our bio. (And peep the last slide for some examples!)

We’re joining in the holiday fun with a 20% off sale on all Christmas items THIS Saturday! The shop will be open from 9 AM - 2 PM.
•December 12th: Manhattan Christmas Stroll
Stop by during the Christmas Stroll! “Old Blue” will be parked out front, stocked with porch pots and wreaths, and our blue building will be filled with Christmas cheer. 😍

This month, we’re open during our normal hours, and we’ve added some extra times, too! Check the calendar to see when the shop will be open, or pop in whenever the “open” sign is on.

✨ Holiday Closing Dates
We’ll be taking a short break from December 22 - January 7 to recharge, spend time with family, and plan for all the exciting things coming in 2025. We’ll be back and ready to kick off the New Year on January 8th!

As Thanksgiving approaches, it’s been so much fun to reflect on this last year ✨ I’m beyond thankful for this community, our customers, and my endlessly supportive family and friends. Just over a year ago, I met Kiyomi from at one of my flower truck events. After delivering a planter order for her, we got to chatting and quickly became good friends. If you’re lucky enough to know Kiyomi, you know how beautiful her heart is. I shared my dream of opening a little shop in Manhattan someday, and a few days later, she called and said, “I think I might have the perfect space for you...” Just like that, she took a chance on me and helped bring my vision to life in our little blue building in Manhattan.

Fast forward to today, and here we are—living the dream I didn’t think would come true this soon. Efflorescence may be a tiny shop, but it’s built with a whole lot of heart & and a commitment to making our little corner of the world just a little brighter. Thank you to everyone who has walked through our doors, placed a floral order, come to a class, cheered us on, or shared a kind word. We’re so grateful.

Wow—where has the time gone? It’s hard to believe we’re already in the thick of the holiday season! Before things get even busier, I have to say how much FUN we had at the a couple of weekends ago. It was such a joy connecting with past customers-turned-friends (thank you for trusting me with your planters again!) and meeting so many new faces. This business is all about the people for me—the connections, conversations, and community we build. I truly appreciate your support more than words can express. 💛

I didn’t get a chance to take many photos during the sale so I want to give a special thanks to , who happened to be at the event and captured some beautiful shots of my display. 📸 thank you so much, Lorrie!

Now, I need to give a few big shoutouts to the amazing people who made it all happen because, let’s be honest, it takes a freaking village!

♥️ My beautiful Momma—so many of you met her at the sale! She’s an angel who drove all the way from Minnesota, trailer full of greens and tree tops (things I can’t get here in Montana), just to help. She prepped every container and spent countless evenings with me getting everything ready. Mom, you are my superhero, and I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you for everything!

🌻 My incredible mother-in-law, Linda—who is one of Efflorescence’s biggest cheerleaders. Linda traveled here to help, woke up at the crack of dawn to make planters, and stayed behind to decorate our shop in Manhattan for Christmas while we were at the sale. She keeps everything running so seamlessly that I never have to worry, which is HUGE as a business owner. Linda, your love and support mean the world to me—thank you!

🛻 My beyond-wonderful husband—the one who drives the truck to and from events, stays on call whenever I need extra hands, and is my rock through it all. Rick, you are my greatest blessing, and I feel so lucky to do life with you.

To everyone who came by the sale or sent love from afar, thank you for making this little dream of mine so special. Here’s to the upcoming holiday season and all the magic yet to come! ✨

Hi friends! 🧡 So excited to announce that we’re hosting three Thanksgiving Centerpiece Workshops this year! Whether you’re looking to elevate your holiday table or just want a fun, creative night out, we’d love for you to join us for an afternoon/evening in the blue building! 🌻✨

Here’s what we’ve got planned:

🕯️ Sunday, Nov. 24th, 2-5pm – Centerpiece Workshop + Candle-Making with .mt ! You’ll create a holiday candle to take home along with your floral arrangement.

💐 Monday, Nov. 25th & Tuesday, Nov. 26th, 6-8pm – Thanksgiving Centerpiece Workshop evenings! Perfect for making something beautiful for your table.

We’ll have a delicious charcuterie board, fall drinks (and mocktails!), and all the flowers and supplies you need. 🍂🌿 It’s the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit with friends or family!

Friends!!! Mark your calendars! Efflorescence will be back at this incredible event with our outdoor planters in just 2 weeks! 🥰
We'll be all set up with the truck outside, just like last year. I'll be posting some sneak peaks leading up to the weekend to show you all what we'll have for sale - we've collected fun containers all year for this event! ✨🎄

Also - if you bought one of our containers last year, please let me know if you'd like it redone! I've already had a few people reach out to ask about this. We're more than happy to reuse the container and make you a new porch pot for this year. See you all soon! 💕

Just two weeks away!! We’re so excited to see you at this year’s White Barn Vintage Market - Vintage Christmas Market! Being held November 8th from 5-8 and November 9th from 9-3! Hosted on the grounds of the Gallatin Valley Garden Center, 1770 Cobb Hill Road, Bozeman MT!

Here you will find several green houses full of the valley’s best vendors - all selling handmade, repurposed, and vintage wares! From soaps, mittens, and jewelry, to candles and home decor, you can find something unique for everyone on your Christmas list!

Friday’s event includes drinks and snacks and lots of ambiance - $20 gets you inside and gives you an early bird shopping experience! Saturday’s event is $5 at the door. Kids 10 and under are free. Food trucks will be on site both days as well!

Plan to come out and shop - bring all your friends with you! And don’t forget your Christmas list!

Hi friends! 🌻 I know it’s so last-minute (hello, October, where did you go?!), but we’ve got a few spots left for our Blooming Pumpkins Workshop this Saturday, October 26th from 3-5pm, and we’d love for you to join us! 🎃💐

Old Blue went on a roadtrip this weekend! 🛻 ✨

People often ask about our beloved flower truck & the story behind it. Old Blue came from my husband’s family ranch in Roy, Montana — his Grandpa Ted bought it new in 1957! After it stopped working in 1980, it was put in the shop for about 40 years. Rick had always loved the old truck as a kid, so his Grandpa gifted it to him as a college graduation present. About 3 years ago, Rick was finally able to pick up the truck and bring it back to Bozeman to work on it. He put so much time & energy into Old Blue to get him to run again, turning it into the flower truck you all know & love today! 🌻

This weekend, we celebrated Grandpa Ted’s 90th birthday. Rick & his brother Ryan thought it was the perfect opportunity to bring Old Blue back to the ranch for Ted — it’s been nearly 45 years since it drove the streets of Roy! Ted (and this old truck!) are so loved and it was such a special moment to witness. 🥰🎉
